Whilst working here, I have managed several projects to develop our business.  These have involved the transition-management of our CRM recruitment system and the upgrading of our candidate training platform.  Additionally, I am managing the development of our new website and the implementation of our social media and marketing campaigns.

Brought in to cover maternity leave, I developed and delivered the association’s calendar of annual events, These were predominantly high-end conferences, dinners and round-tables for senior directors/partners from closed-ended investment companies.  Held in a range of iconic venues, the majority of these events took place in London, Edinburgh and Guernsey.

Recruiter Hub Ltd

Working with SME recruitment consultancies we offered business consultancy, mentoring  and in-house training using a 10-week training programme, The Recruiterhub Academy.

I worked on the initial content development, production and delivery of the Academy.  Following the rollout of the programme, I worked closely with several agencies and would train and mentor their management teams to ensure they could deliver the Academy successfully within their own recruitment businesses.

Working with start-up recruitment consultancies, my job was to successfully set them up for their first year of trading.  I would assist them with creating a business plan and sourced suitable mentors and non-exec directors to work alongside them.  Additionally, I ensured they had all the necessary legislative documentation and policies in place to trade successfully, in line with the REC's code of best practice.

Tate Recruitment set up their Guildford office in 2008.  Knowing this market, I assisted with their initial business development strategy.

Senior Consultant (contract)

Responsible for the delivery and development of all recruitment training courses offered by the REC.  Event management for all REC events: annual conferences, industry awards dinners, regional meetings and international conventions. I had complete budget control that encompassed sales, marketing and fund-raising, through sponsorship.

Blue Arrow went through a complete IT transformation and I successfully managed the southern region through the full process.  My involvement started with the development, testing and piloting of the new in-house recruitment system, which then led to successful rollout, company-wide.

I've dedicated the majority of my career to the recruitment industry and I think it’s safe to say it is now a key part of my DNA.  I've been fortunate to have held some great roles, from leading CRM implementation projects to managing international recruitment events. I didn't enter recruitment to meet sales targets; my true motivation has always been to help people with their careers, so joining The Recruitment Consultancy feels like a return to what truly matters to me.
