Firework is a vertical video ‘story’ platform designed to increase engagement  on O&O websites by making them feel more like Snapchat or TikTok. 

Set up the Sports Partnerships at Firework to engage, onboard & optimise Firework integrations on  sports rights holders O&O websites and mobile apps. 

Sports partners onbarded included Serie A, MotoGP, Sail GP, Freeride World Tour & Sport360 - which delivered the most-engaged channels across Firework's 1bn monthly users.

Responsible for delivery of large-scale digital media projects for high profile sports rights holders including Manchester City, the FA, World Rugby, Gran Turismo and Formula E. 

Managed a team of 20 to oversee strategy, production and distribution of video and graphic content on multiple platforms for rights-holding client partners. 

Key responsibilities:
Audience development & fan engagement on client social channels 
Set up & management of digital marketing department to increase subscriptions and ticket sales through paid media campaigns 
Implementing community management best practices for social platforms
Managing platforms partnerships with YouTube, TikTok and Snapchat. 

Client Highlights include:
Conceived, developed and implemented CityTV for Manchester City - delivering over 20m new highly engaged fans in the first 3 years (2010-13). 
Doubled the target of 1bn video views for social content for the 2019 Rugby World Cup mainly through Snapchat & TikTok partnerships. 
Created over £500k worth of sponsorable inventory through FATV for The FA.

Responsible for strategy and delivery of new media developments at Endemol  - the world's largest TV production company. 
Projects covered online, mobile, interactive TV and social media - across multiple broadcasters and regions. 
Key role was to maximise fan reach, engagement and revenue targets for high-profile Endemol properties (such as Big Brother and Deal or No Deal).

Ran Sky One's multi-platform content and responsible for the channel's presence in emerging TV delivery channels (including interactive TV, online and VOD). 
Oversaw daily output of Sky One on all new media channels, and managed resources, budgets and personnel to ensure timely delivery of content to these channels.

I'm an innovative Founder and proven COO with a proven track record of delivering successful media projects and revenue streams across a number of verticals. 

In the sports industry, I grew Engage, the renowned sports media company, from 5 to over 100 FTEs, generating revenues of c.£8m. In this role, I led the content creation, social media engagement, and technical delivery teams for organisations such as Manchester City FC, The Football Association and World Rugby, achieving significant results - such as delivering over 2 billion views & engagements for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. 

Most recently, I was the Founder and COO of xG Studios, a company enabling athletes to create a personalised onchain record of their athletic acheivements. I raised funding for the project which grew to delivering personalised NFTs to 2,500 grassroots football players & athletes including for the Great North Run and the London Asics 10k. 

Currently, I'm working as Programme Director with The Hub on delivering a next-generation CRM platform in the West Midlands.
