But I'm not in the transportation business. I'm in the people business. Our mission is to create incredible opportunities and epic lives. Franchising gives you the opportunity to work autonomously with a proven system for making money, using a recipe that was developed by some smart people (namely… me in this case…)

Every day, I have the responsibility and privilege to direct the vision of our company, setting the course for years to come. I embrace servant leadership and believe that if people are going to spend more time in their work than they do with their family, they had better enjoy it. 

I love learning about people, and having the deeper conversations. I reject rhetoric and posturing. There are only so many hours in the day, and I want them to be filled with richness and realness. 

I guess I should add a bit about myself…

I have three young daughters, and I’m a very involved Dad. I have high expectations and want them to grow up to be strong, resilient and independent women who feel they can do whatever the heck they want with their lives. 

I love working with my hands - In 2019 I began a major overhaul on my house and have completely renovated it down to the wall studs… every room…

I’m extremely passionate about coaching others, which makes my role as franchisor a perfect fit for me. Every day, I work with entrepreneurs to help them grow their business. 

I love music and play the guitar. I’ve been dabbling with piano a bit and think it might be my next project. 

I’m great at sales, because I’ve never felt like I was selling anything. I present opportunities to people who need what I have, and partner with those who will fully invest in themselves and the brand.

Roxton Industries 

As the Marketing Manager at Roxton Industries, I contributed to developing creative briefs and guiding creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets. I also conceptualized and executed multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring alignment of communications and messaging in all channels. Additionally, I managed content and updates for customer and internal touch points, established budget guidelines, participated in events, documented business processes, and provided sales support. I gathered customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads. Furthermore, I identified the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives through tracking and analysis, and optimized accordingly. I presented ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicated with stakeholders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets. Lastly, I interviewed, onboarded, and managed co-op students as my direct reports in the marketing department.

The Hockey News

As a Head Editor for The Hockey News' Gaming Site, I was responsible for maintaining the site with the latest news and information on NHL gaming. I coordinated with a Co-Editor to ensure the consistent publication of relevant content. Additionally, I attended meetings with The Hockey News Team Site writers to coordinate large-scale promotions and events, and collaborated with the Managing Editor for Team Sites to discuss progress, next steps, and overall content and strategy alignment.

As a Podcast Host, I co-hosted the NHChel podcast, where I maintained extensive knowledge of the NHL gaming scene to ensure the podcast remained relevant, collaborating with other figures and covering NHL e-sports. I scripted and developed periodic episodes with my co-host, coordinating recording schedules with the producer and guests.

As a Product Marketing Manager I served as the point of contact between several of Tech-Trek's suppliers and the sales team, where I developed and maintained robust supplier relationships. I arranged product training sessions, managed literature distribution, and promoted product lines. Additionally, I assisted in the research and development of new and existing accounts, including emerging markets, and played a role in building and managing the sales pipeline for prospective customers. I also contributed to spearheading the company's digital marketing growth.

As a seasoned marketing professional with over 5 years of experience in Marketing & Sales, I bring a diverse skill set encompassing lead generation, sales, website development, digital marketing, social media management, and content creation. My leadership extends to interviewing, onboarding, training, and supervising co-op students within marketing teams, as well as driving pivotal initiatives, projects, and campaigns to meet corporate objectives.

My passion lies in storytelling and crafting compelling narratives to engage diverse audiences. I thrive on the challenge of finding innovative ways to communicate messages effectively, recognizing the individual interpretation inherent in human interaction. Additionally, I possess a strong affinity for data analysis, leveraging insights to inform strategic decision-making and problem-solving.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy a range of activities, including gaming, watching sports, reading books or listening to audiobooks, and a love for food and cooking. Whether taking in information to make a decision in a sports game or competitive gaming match, diving into literary pursuits, or indulging in a new recipe/dish, I relish opportunities for growth and enjoyment. And while my palate leans towards savory delights, my enthusiasm for connecting with like-minded professionals remains sweet.
