I've been working as a digital marketing consultant for the last 3 years specialising primarily in Facebook and Instagram advertising.  Working in primarily the B2C market (small amount of B2B) across multiple verticals.

Boxed around the world at various tournaments from venues as grand as the Echo Arena, Alexandra Palace and The Ned and as humble as working mens clubs / community centres where it all started.

I was ranked #6 in England having made various elite national finals and had a spot on the Men's England Boxing team at Bantamweight at my peak.

I eventually found my level and wasn't good enough to reach Team GB, so, with no ambition to turn professional I chose to double down on my software sales career instead. 

It was through boxing where I first came across the power of mental performance coaching and the ingredients required for a winning mindset.

Launched a nutrition app and eCommerce store to help fighters cut weight safely. This included taking the business from an idea, pitching to investors to raise 50k to build an MVP, managing developers to get it built, running digital marketing campaigns and optimising for downloads/conversions. 

This landed me in £15,000 of personal debt, which I was able to clear off within 7 months selling into both UK and US markets at Rakuten whilst living on my aunties sofa.

I’m Kyran, the Founder of Total Mental Performance: a team of mental performance consultants for high performing business owners. I’m a qualified NLP practitioner, performance coach, and cognitive hypnotherapist.

Back in the day, I used to punch people in the face. (I was an international boxer.) After losing my place on England’s mens boxing team, I decided to shift into the highly-competitive world of edtech and software sales.

While I was able to close more than £400,000 of new business as a sales from standing start at 17, I also experienced some of my darkest moments during this time. I heavily struggled with managing challenging emotions that were causing deeper mental dysfunctions. 

Depression, addiction, and an eating disorder ended up paralyzing me. Eventually, I found myself in debt, burnt out living on my aunties sofa - having just been dumped by an ex-girlfriend due to previous abandonment and anxiety issues. 

They say once you’re at your lowest point, the only way is up. So eventually I found my way up, and I started Total Mental Performance to help other high performers avoid the same patterns and pitfalls I had fallen into.

Along that journey, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with world-class coaches, mentors, and companies. I finally figured out where I was going wrong and what changes would make it right. I learned some great models, techniques, and thinking processes that fundamentally changed my life.
