Chief Growth Officer 

Leading the growth strategy of Tracklib, the online record store for music producers.  

I am responsible to reach our hyper-growth revenue targets a.o by:
- leading the multi-channel marketing strategy, budget, & team resources
- prioritizing marketing and product activities to maximize growth and minimize CAC
- implementing data- and user-focused growth methodologies accross the company
- working in close collaboration with the CTPO to test new product features rapidly and optimize the full-funnel conversions (from acquisition to retention & referral)

The US government terminated the first national nature assessment last year but the scientists finished it anyway.

No federal budget. No institutional backing. 100% volunteer author team. 

They rebuilt the secretariat from scratch, spent months lobbying foundations for funding, and submitted the completed report to the National Academy of Sciences for formal review.

Same rigour. Zero federal support.

That’s the origin story of The Nature Record. It is now open for public comment.

Here’s what struck me most about it.

The report doesn’t open with collapse.

It opens with a chapter on bright spots: places and processes where nature is performing better than expected, given everything humans have done to it.

730 peer-reviewed papers. Every major US ecosystem. Every state. Bright spots everywhere.

Bald eagles. Gray wolves. 50 overfished stocks rebuilt since 2000. 3,600 hectares of seagrass restored in Virginia’s coastal lagoons. Coastal wetlands providing $23 billion per year in storm protection across the US.

The chapter documents exactly what enables them: 
✅partnerships, 
✅ policy frameworks, 
✅monitoring technology, 
✅ funding structures, 

and one factor that keeps appearing across every successful case: 
✅ equity. 

When local communities and Indigenous knowledge are centred in decision-making, outcomes are more durable. Every time.
Bright spots are replicable. That’s the point.

The system that defunded this report wanted it gone.

The team that rebuilt it decided to lead with evidence of what works. not to be optimistic, but because the science on behaviour change is clear: doom alone paralyses. 

Evidence of solutions builds the motivation to act.
