I have over 20 years experience in the field of web design and user experience (UX) with 100s of websites under my belt.

You'll see me talking at events such as The Marketing Meetup, or hear me on podcasts advocating for a human-centred, user-first approach to web design, and sharing our SmartSite™ methodology which has helped generate £1m's for our clients.

I'm here to help you (marketing and business leaders of £2m+ B2B, non-profit, retail & saas companies), and make your lives easier. We do this by:

🧠 It's no secret we use behavioural science as our weapon of choice. After initially working alongside UCL (University College London) to corroborate our hypothesis, we then developed the SmartSite™ methodology, which harnesses behavioural science. This has subsequently accelerated the success of every website and organisation we've applied it to.

I replaced the full-time I.T. Manager as part-time I.T. Administrator (sole member of I.T. Department) two days per week. I was responsible for managing I.T. Infrastructure and vendor relationships in four sites across the U.K. and had direct input into the I.T. procurement strategy. My main focus was developing Fixing Point's MRP system (based on JBoss) in XML, Java and Javascript.

Continued on as contractor after placement ended transitioning Smiths I.T. systems and data as part of the ETL process. I assisted in the process of moving Human Resources data from one system to another ensuring that data in both HR and Financial systems was correct. Continued to fill a Web Development/Systems Analyst role and finally performed hand-over of maintenance to I.T. at the end of my contract.

Work based placement working in an HR department as a web developer/systems analyst. During this time I built and implemented a Learning Management System in ASP which supported approximately 2000 users. Worked directly with internal clients in all phases of the project lifecycle.

Student Placement

I run Rigorous; a WordPress Agency offering design, development & support working with retailers (bricks & mortor as well as pure play ecommerce) & venue-based businesses (particularly in the Arts and Culture sector). We work with clients on an ongoing basis to improve their site's performance, SEO, sales and overall revenue. 

Our support goes deeper than just cosmetic fixes. It wraps up functional changes, consultancy and an account manager all in one monthly payment. Perfect if you're working with a budget.
