I have over 20 years experience in the field of web design and user experience (UX) with 100s of websites under my belt.

You'll see me talking at events such as The Marketing Meetup, or hear me on podcasts advocating for a human-centred, user-first approach to web design, and sharing our SmartSite™ methodology which has helped generate £1m's for our clients.

I'm here to help you (marketing and business leaders of £2m+ B2B, non-profit, retail & saas companies), and make your lives easier. We do this by:

- Providing training and coaching to empower your team to find opportunities in your existing website,

🧠 It's no secret we use behavioural science as our weapon of choice. After initially working alongside UCL (University College London) to corroborate our hypothesis, we then developed the SmartSite™ methodology, which harnesses behavioural science. This has subsequently accelerated the success of every website and organisation we've applied it to.

Board-level position leading King & McGaw’s E-Commerce team and London operations for one of the world's top manufacturers and retailers of art prints and frames. Responsible for the engineering, marketing and merchandising teams, with full accountability of multi-million pound budget.

Responsibilities
* Full accountability of the retail strategy and P&L at board level
* Produce data-driven strategies across the conversion funnel through build/measure/learn cycles
* Lead engineering, marketing and merchandising teams to prioritise roadmaps and ensure successful execution and measurement of projects and campaigns
* Recruitment, coaching, goal-setting and career development of team members; appointment and management of agencies and contractors
* Oversee management of performance marketing, SEO, social, CRM and content marketing
* Coordination across product, operations, manufacturing, customer service and wholesale teams
* Implemented analytics and business intelligence tools, including marketing dashboards and data warehouses, and a culture of using data to drive decisions

Results
* Consistent double-digit growth (23% YoY growth 2016/17)
* £500k+ in incremental revenue at 5x ROAS in first year with Facebook ad strategies
* Successfully managed migration of brand name from Easyart to King & McGaw

E-Commerce Director

Lead the engineering team in London for Easyart. The initial objective was to modernise the technology stack, and introduce a devops culture into the engineering team.

Responsibilities
* Architected and managed the build of custom cloud-based web platform to power our e-commerce properties, and oversaw the migration (Ruby/ElasticSearch/Heroku/Redis)
* Modernised development processes, including the introduction of agile, version control, peer review, automated testing and continuous integration
* Implementation of conversion rate optimisation plan, including A/B testing (Optimizely), Lean UX processes, user testing, personas and statistical analysis
* Migrated a number of services into the cloud, including successful implementation of Google Apps and Basecamp for 60+ users
* Drive insights from analytics platforms

* Designed and developed service-oriented e-commerce platform (Ruby/Mongo/Heroku)
* Developed of HTML5 platform for kiosk, tablet and web, installed in institutions such as the Tate and Natural History Museum

Oversaw the technical aspects of the Art on Demand platform which has more than 60 touchscreens in the world's premier fine art museums - including Tate, MoMA, Smithsonian, Natural History Museum - as well as kiosks for Disney and e-commerce websites for high street retailers including Next, Habitat and B&Q.

* Coded web interfaces - in .NET, CSS, and HTML - and core web platform library in C#

I’m a marketing technologist and entrepreneur with a talent for fusing data, technology, and creativity. As Spin’s Data & Insights Director, I shape strategies that leverage data to drive business incrementality for clients including Camper, Fujifilm, DeadHappy, Wowcher and Magnet Kitchens. 

Previously, I founded Pollenary, an ad agency that applied agile software development techniques to digital marketing, before its acquisition by Spin. As King & McGaw’s E-Commerce Director, I played a pivotal role in navigating the company through a period of substantial growth and transformation.
