It exclusively promotes and utilises ethical communication strategies promoting equal voice, accountability and integrity at every turn.

I upskill my clients as communicators to no longer shy away from the tough stuff, but to learn to approach it all without blame or shame, judgement or assumption. This culture shift will not only boost morale and your bottom line, but it is a key equality, diversity and inclusion issue too as it brings all voices to the fore and does away for good with outdated and problematic dominance dynamics.

I received the best news at the weekend, but it’s taken a while to properly sink in…I’m officially cancer free.

It’s been a long 11 months with two operations and radio iodine therapy. But if I’m honest, the waiting has been the hardest part.

I’ll be on medication for life and it’ll take some time for my hormones to settle, but right now it feels like a relief. 

Strangely, I still feel a little numb. Maybe that’s the body finally realising it can stand down.

The run up to launching Vidonary has been incredibly busy, but yesterday Martin Huntbach  went for a lovely meal to celebrate. 

2026 is definitely looking brighter.

The last time I was in Belfast, I did something slightly bananas. 

Martin and I flew with our 5-month-old and my parents to speak at an event hosted by the brilliant Louise Brogan. 

Our little boy wasn't sleeping through the night yet, and I definitely still had baby-brain, but it was the most wonderful experience. 

And that's all down to Louise. Louise knows how to make the BEST events - every speaker is so knowledgable and everyone is just so bloody lovely too. 

So when she asked us to speak in Belfast again, we absolutely could not resist! 

This year, Louise is hosting B2B Live for small businesses and teams to learn all about video marketing, LinkedIn, podcasting, email marketing and more. 

And it's in one of my favourite cities in the world! (And we're already planning another trip to Giant's Causeway).

I used to think that if I created educational content, people would magically find their way to working with us. 

But it doesn't work like that. 

The best content is valuable AND sells at the same time, but there's a specific way to sell so your audience doesn't feel pitched. 

Here are 3 ways you can sell on video without your audience feeling pitched...

1. Tackle your prospective client's objections about working with you in an entertaining way (there's a great example of a company that does this in the video below) 

2. Reveal the exact process behind what you do - show everything that goes into how you work with clients and what resources/materials you've built - people love a nosey, and this works extremely well 

3. Use a 'stealthy case study' - show how you achieved success for your client and take people through the exact steps you took. Reveal all and don't hold anything back.  

And finally, remind people what the next step is in the process. It doesn't matter where you're sharing your video, include some kind of call to action so people can take that next step with you. Like my example just below 😉
