3 years ago, we started our flagship event with a simple belief: if blockchain was to work in traditional finance, the right people needed to be in the same room

Last Wednesday in Tokyo, our 4th edition of ONCHAIN 2026 - Blockchain Summit - brought together 550+ leaders across Japan and internationally. Hosted by Credit Saison Co., Ltd. and Pacific Meta, and executed by our team at Onigiri Capital, this year felt like a turning point

In 2025, I spent more than 100 days on the road

Sometimes it’s a long overnight flight across the Pacific to the US or Brazil. Other times it’s a quick hop across Asia. But the routine ends up looking similar: red-eyes, airport coffee, and meetings that start right after landing.

Travel like that makes you appreciate how much the basics matter.

Protecting focus.
Getting enough sleep.
Choosing tools that simply work without friction.

When you spend a lot of time on screens and calls, small details start to matter more. Comfort and reliability start to compound.

-Developed a new fee discount rebate mechanism which offers affiliates a new incentive structure for their users. The feature assisted affiliates to achieve 1b of trading volume within the first week of its launch. 
- Led the creation and implementation of the affiliate recommendation system which helps to tap on the affiliate network and bringing them onto the platform. 
- Building internal platforms to increase efficiency for product operations for the Affiliate team and Business teams

- Oversaw the development of a new rebate calculation system for Affiliates aimed at increasing user sign-ups and first time trades (FTT) and led a cross-functional team including product designers, data engineers, and frontend/backend engineers.
- Built data visualisations using SQL and Amplitude dashboards to report on product KPIs, and weekly product data analysis to monitor growth metrics and refine go-to-market strategies
- Established key workflows for agile development within the growth product team
- Obtained Highest Performance Review grade SS

Ministry of Health (Singapore)

Healthcare Finance (Subvention)
In my work, I manage the public healthcare system to ensure that good and affordable basic medical services are available to all Singaporeans. We achieve this by providing subsidised medical services while promoting individual responsibility for the costs of healthcare services. 

Key scope of my work includes the development and implementation of two national level systems: The costing systemisation system (CoSy) and the subvention systemisation system (SuSy). I support the development of these IT systems as a Product Owner, managing all policy-related issues and resolving any data governance dependencies to ensure a smooth development and implementation process.  Further, I manage the annual subvention budgets for Acute Hospitals by reviewing funding approaches to incentivise care transformation while encouraging cost containment.

Health Policy Analyst (Healthcare Finance) & Product Owner (CoSy & SuSy)

Ministry of Health (Primary and Community Care Division) 
Worked on the development of the Patient Empowerment for Self-Care (PE) Framework, an initiative under the War on Diabetes by the Disease Management Workgroup. Focused on the Care Team Education (CTE) Workgroup, co-leading the community engagement aspect and development of care team education materials. 
Co-developed the design thinking process for designing the patient care journey, creating the ideal patient experience. Focused mainly on the development of programme evaluation tools (cognitive testing of KPIs & sensemaker)

Policy and Research (Primary Care and Communications)

Manpower Planning & Strategy, Intermediate and Long Term Care. 

Under the internship project, I work alongside policy analysts to study the changes in the manpower profile (i.e. age, years of experience, seniority and local-foreign mix), hiring trends across the various care settings, adjustments in staffing levels across each care settings across the years based on the workforce data surveyed from the various community care providers, like community hospitals, nursing homes and senior care centres.  Through the study, I am to identify manpower gaps (e.g. staff groups which are rapidly ageing or delocalizing and settings where the manpower growth outstrips workload growth signaling a manpower efficiency concern), suggest ways which the sector can address these gaps and transit into a more sustainable and future-ready staffing model going forward.

Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong

Under the Global Y Explorers Programme, I was appointed to the Hin Keng Centre in Hong Kong CYMCA where I was able to coordinate programmes for underprivileged youth and young children. The programmes planned were focused on teaching English and to expand on the youths and children's understanding of the world and its cultures.
