Travel Sales Consultant | Assistant Manager

As a result of experiencing all these amazing tours I decided to start editing videos in order to share my personal experiences with customers. While selling East Coast packages I would previously show customers a video about Fraser Island from a famous travel blogger lasting 5 minutes. After editing my own experiences this would only cost me 30 seconds.

The top selling product in Cairns is a boattrip to  the Great Barrier Reef. Even a year after launching the video about snorkeling and introductory diving my colleagues would still show this video to their customers.

• Most consistent top seller out of 10 shops in Cairns over the timespan of a year.
• Experienced influencer marketing shock.
• Fear of heights: went bungy jumping & skydiving regardless.

• Made it to the (traditional) bending finals competing with lifelong Jillaroos at the Winning Bush Gymkhana.

Reef Encounter

Responsible for the daily and nightly operation of an overnight cruise ship that offers snorkel and dive tours on the Great Barrier Reef with capacity of 44 passengers and 22 crew members. Responsibilities include daily supervision of the bar, restaurant, housekeeping, guest services and administration including logbooks, daily reports and stock control.

Responsible for managing the second beach bar/event location and colleagues while being the direct point of contact. Cashing up the register on a daily base and close contact with the owner and manager. Deciding work schedule based on good weather conditions and group bookings. Supervise and maintain inventory of the stock at the bar. Preparing the location up to billing guests and groups. Managing contact with regulars, upselling menu packages, preparing cocktails and other beverages.

During wintertime I would work at our other location in ski resort Saalbach Hinterglemm, Austria.

Achievements:
• Sold the most liquor 43 out of 40 Beach Bars in Zandvoort, highest Individual Contributor to collective team efforts.
• Most revenue created according to handheld data.
