I’m tired.
Every year, it's the same story. 

Around International Women’s Day, invitations from women-supporting organizations land in my inbox.   
  
They often share a common goal: advancing equity and closing the gender pay gap.
  
Yet, paradoxically, when it comes to compensating the speakers, panelists, and mentors they recruit ... there’s silence.   
  
Some truly don’t have the budget at all, and I completely understand that.   
  
But others have made it a practice to expect women to offer their expertise without pay.
Perpetuating the same cycle they claim they are trying to break.   
  
If we believe women’s voices matter, we should fund them.
If we believe in closing the gap, we should stop recreating it.   
  
I’m at a crossroads because this isn’t about saying no to purpose.
It’s about saying yes to alignment.

I used to think visibility was for “louder” people.

 The ones who always knew what to say.
 The ones who never overthought a post before hitting publish.

Turns out… that’s not true.

Most of the introverted leaders I work with don’t lack ideas.
They lack permission—to be seen, to be heard, to take up space without feeling fake or forced.

➡️ I put the interest of my team first at all times, being empathetic and being an active listener. I actively listen to the needs of my Developers, P.O and Stakeholders. l make sure the team have all they need to get the work done and l always appreciate the teams for the work they do, even when we don't achieve our goals. And from time to time, l ask my team how they think l can serve them better.

➡️  I help to provoke  their thoughts, by asking them a lot of questions❓ How do you think we can get things done better❓How do you think we can improve❓What do you think if we get now it will make our job easier❓ I also ask my team members if they need help and how we can increase on our delivery rate.

  ➡️  I always strive to create a near conflict free zone for my team, help resolve conflicts, create a fun environment for the team and encourage collaboration and communication between team members.

   ➡️  I help remove road blocks, protect my team from external interference and ensure my team respect the time box during meetings.

 ➡️   l coach my team on the importance of the agile/scrum processes and make sure my team is embedded on the scrum values.

➡️  HOW I RELENTLESSLY IMPROVE ON MYSELF❓❓
Meet with my coach once a week to learn and ask him questions, l attend webinars, read books and attend our Community Of Practice Meetings (5 times a week). ➡️ For the day I stop learning,  I'll start failing. Continuous learning is the backbone of a progressive career and a Scrum Master is a lifelong learner.
