First Thanksgiving with just the four of us.

My wife. Two sons (20 & 22).

No extended family this year. Parents are gone. The table's smaller than it used to be.

But here's what I'm realizing:
Thanksgiving isn't about the size of the gathering or recreating what it used to look like.

It's about taking one day to actually stop and be grateful for what's right in front of you.

For me? That's these three people. That's enough.

Wherever you are today - big table, small table, no table - just the fact that we get a day to pause and think about what we're thankful for?

That matters.
