France-born and international artist Lionel Thomas brings a colorful perspective and injects new life into the art world with his myriad of vibrant works. A self-taught artist, Lionel finds inspiration in the dynamic energy of both his city of Lille and Yaounde (Cameroon) his Cameroonian and French roots and creates pieces that are rich in music culture. Lionel Thomas has also found inspiration in Jazz and Blues music.

Led the industrial heat-tracing solutions business that generated ~$400 million in revenue. Defined and developed best practices, including quality and productivity training, and sales process standardization. Drove segment growth through consistent market positioning and business development support (accelerating growth and building market penetration), profitability improvements, and risk-adjusted market prioritization.

•	Constructed and maintained a centralized Project Management Office (PMO) that introduced best practices. Slashed margin erosion to 0% and improved project-specific change management revenue 20% overall and contributed to 5% growth in project profitability.
•	Led a digital/connectivity transformation initiative that would provide market growth and a clear roadmap on how to achieve true asset management; anticipated additional organic growth of upwards of 20-25%.
•	Collapsed the stand-alone Canadian Region into a new Americas Region (i.e. LAM, USA & CDN) under centralized leadership; standardization of practices resulted in efficiency gains of 10%.

Devised the strategic vision to achieve strong performance and identified opportunities to drive operational and sales efficiencies. Managed costs in all aspects of operations through a rigorous budget process. 

•	Implemented effective sales coverage strategies that boosted Product-specific annual performance by 11%. 
•	Improved the win-rate on projects valued at more than $100,000 from 25% to 35% by realigning resources across the sales, proposal, and estimating teams.

Vice President & General Manager, USA & LAM - Industrial Heating Solutions (IHS)

Spearheaded the development and growth of sales in a direct sales and distributor management environment. Collaborated with business units, marketing, and operations to build and close business. Targeted discovering, developing, and nurturing new sales opportunities.

•	Developed and secured a new business deal with the largest LNG development in Europe/Russia. Boosted revenue performance by $100M.  
•	Transformed the sales and operations of the underperforming Middle East/India (MEI) region. Exceeded expectations with +25% revenue growth in the first year.

Established and led the North and South American instrumentation and electrical business unit. Oversaw P&L, sales, business development, project/construction execution, quality, and safety.

•	Re-structured the division, vastly improving operations; contributed heavily with Project/Construction oversight to a key Colombian project that was in distress, improving annual revenue.

Served as a business development leader and manager, overseeing all project opportunities across all geographic regions. Focused on large, complex, and strategic projects that required much longer sales-gestation cycles than normal business.

•	Negotiated and landed a turnkey contract, with first-of-its-kind technology-application, valued at $10 million.  
•	Encouraged and realized collaboration between several cross-functional teams, resulting in a full-service contract with an oil refining customer that generated $250 million in revenue.

Managed all aspects of project execution, including cost, scheduling, human resources, safety and quality on various oil and gas, refining, and petrochemical projects.
