It respected timing.

A quick behind-the-scenes truth 🍒

The most impactful lifecycle improvements rarely come from:

Over-engineered journeys or shiny new channels

They come from sitting with a brand and asking:

“What are we actually trying to help the customer do here?”

This one was beautiful.

Soft tones.
Beautiful photography.
Lovely brand voice.

But…

I finished reading and did absolutely nothing.

Why?
🍒 No clear CTA hierarchy
 🍒 Competing messages
 🍒 No urgency or next step

Design isn’t strategy.

A small tweak:
 One primary CTA.
 One outcome.
 One reason to act now.

Especially in wellness, where education is strong, conversion needs direction.
✨ Pretty emails build brand.
 💌 Clear emails drive revenue.

You need both.

Inside:
 • Big red banner
 • Countdown timer
 • One product image
 • No context
 • No reason

Technically fine. Strategically thin.

What’s missing?
🍒 No reminder of why I should care
 🍒 No positioning
 🍒 No social proof
 🍒 No segment relevance

Discounts convert best when they amplify desire — not replace it.

Before you send 20% off, ask:

Have we reminded them why the product matters?

A simple fix:
 Add one tight benefit block.
 Add one testimonial.
 Reference what they browsed.

Urgency works best when it’s sitting on top of strong foundations.

✨ Otherwise you’re just shouting.

Everyone wants “more from email”.

Very few ask why it’s underperforming. 🍒

Most of the DTC brands we speak to already have flows live.

Welcome, abandon, post-purchase, browse… tick, tick, tick.

But when we dig in, it’s often:
 – No clear ownership
 – Copy written once, never revisited
 – Data doing nothing clever
 – And zero confidence in what’s actually driving revenue

Email doesn’t usually need more.

It needs focus, accountability, and a bit of ruthless editing.

If your gut feeling is “it’s fine… but could be doing more”,
 you’re probably right 💌
