When I delivered results back inside the afternoon, I believe accurately, I started Monday in a fresh new office of my own upstairs! Thus the adventure began.

This was an exciting fast paced learn, apply, challenge - rise above period of my life. Completely new to this industry I flew out to Project Manage and Install and Commission a project in Singapore within the month. This was successfully delivered inside expectations.

Working for the best product based company Royal Philips of the Netherlands is a diversified technology company, focused on improving people’s lives through meaningful innovation in the areas of Healthcare, Consumer Lifestyle and Lighting.

Work is mainly based on SharePoint 2010 development and migration of data from on environment to another manually (not the database contents). Basically we can use tool for it but as the content volume is less so we have preferred to do it manually.

1) Migration of the list items to SP 2010 from MOSS 2007
2) Use of SharePoint Designer for Adding workflow in the list on addition of an item in the list.
3) Info path Form for better place for putting data in the list.
4) Proper coordination with the customer.

SharePoint Administrator

Working for the leading Mutual Fund Company as SharePoint 2010 Administrator. Work mainly involves:

1) Managing and checking the overall server health and functionality
2) Monitoring SharePoint disk space usage through the built-in SharePoint reports for each site collection

Sharepoint Administrator

It is a support cum development project. In this project, users will raise tickets in the IMAN ticketing monitor.On the basis of the raised tickets we need to decide the type of resolution for it. 
Generally main aim of the project is to educate the user and 3rd party vendors. As part of our deliverable in our previous project, we have developed a framework for migrating the contents from Oracle WCI platform to SharePoint 2010.

•	Responsibilities
	 
-	Understanding client requirements from statement of purpose (SOW) and FSD (Functional Specification Design Document) to develop web intranet site.
-	Distinguish the issues based on their type either related to new site creation or security issue or any new CR's or documentations etc
-	Developed unit test cases for performing unit testing of critical functionality.
-	Provide resolution to the customer within a stipulated time
-	For the issues which requires more time or not supported by the product. We have to intimate the customer about the default behavior by providing necessary links, docs etc.
-	Provide consultancy to the customer.
-	Provide cost estimates and providing delivery timelines
-	Worked on implementing the automated way of fetching the user group details from each and every site, which results in reducing the effort of the customer to keep track of their user changes in their site.
-	Audit log trailing report on a regular basis.

It is a migration project. Project mainly involves the migration activities from one environment to another. In this project we have migrated the Intranet sites from ORACLE WCI (it’s an ORACLE product for developing Portals/Intranet Sites) to Microsoft SharePoint2010.
For the entire migration activities we have developed a migration tool. Which will migrate the entire contents from ORACLE WCI to a new environment i.e. Microsoft SharePoint 2010
•	Responsibilities	   
-	Migrating the sites and to meet the weekly release of sites as per the customer demand using the custom migrating tool developed by us 
-	Using the tool migrated almost 440+ sites in SP2010.
-	Once the sites are migrated, configured the sites, for most of the Portal sites scripts are there which are not at all migrated in the new environment. Developed the scripts for the newly migrated sites. Provide resolution to the customer within a stipulated time
-	Have written the test scripts and took part in unit testing 
-	Took part in tickets resolving as and when the sites are released i.e. bugs raised by the customer we need to resolve it on a priority basis on the same day.
-	Took part in the documentation activities of the project i.e. mainly based on quality work.
-	Provide cost estimates and providing delivery timelines
