"Can you explain that again please?" was the question I most frequently asked my clients when interviewing them for content ideas. 

The blockchain/Web3 space is a black box; no one really understands what's going on within it. 

I was tasked with the impossible: demystifying the complexity of such topics into engaging, digestible content for others to read and enjoy. 

To paint a picture, one of my clients worked on encoding an NFT with human-verifiable DNA sequencing to act as 'proof of humanity' once the machines inevitably take over. 

It was my first time speaking with the founders...

"Now turn that into a Tweet, please." They told me after discussing the company for 20 minutes.

"No problem," I replied, but first, "What do you mean by that?"

(You can see how valuable being the dumbest person in the room is; you get to ask all the simple questions.)

 Senior Mechanical Engineer – Innovation & Prototyping (Medical Devices)

L V P Eye Innovations evolved out of the LVP-MITra program, a collaboration between L V Prasad Eye Institute and the MIT Media Labs.

The program aims to bring together the expertise of eye specialists and the incredible network of L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, and some of the leading engineers and scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and other institutions around the world to build and deploy the next generation of eye care technologies.

Designed and developed intricate oculoplastic models using additive manufacturing, ensuring high accuracy and print readiness for surgical training and planning.

Engineered cost-effective ophthalmic screening devices tailored for field use, enhancing accessibility for early-stage diagnosis.

Managed vendor communication and raw material procurement to support multiple ongoing innovation projects at the Center for Innovation.

Built and maintained in-house 3D printers and fabricated precision components using additive manufacturing techniques.

Executed rapid prototyping projects using FDM and other 3D printing technologies to support product development cycles.

Additive Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer

I’m a Mechanical Engineer with over 7 years of experience in medical device prototyping and innovation. In recent years, I’ve specialized in bio 3D printing—designing corneal scaffolds and working hands-on with both extrusion-based and light-based bioprinters to create functional, biologically relevant structures.

I’ve developed deep expertise in extrusion bioprinting systems (BIO X) and also gained experience with light-based printers like LUMEN X and BIONOVA X. My work blends mechanical design, hands-on fabrication, and a passion for building solutions that bridge engineering with real healthcare needs.

I’ve contributed to multiple research projects and co-authored publications focused on biofabrication and regenerative medicine. Beyond the lab, I enjoy translating concepts into practical prototypes using CAD tools and 3D printing technologies, particularly in the medtech space.
