I headed up the product and design department @Trustpilot for 3 years first as VP product and then later as SVP Product

We grew the product team from a small group of PMs to a 20+ group of strong product managers, delivery managers and UX and visual designers. The team worked in partnership with our engineers in true cross functional agile teams. The total organisation of product and tech was 110 people when I left.

In that period we grew our annual recurring revenue with almost 50% every year, and I was jointly responsible for building those products that enabled that growth. As leader of the product organisation I was also responsible for our main lead channel which accounted for more than 70% of all new business revenue.

I was also responsible for constantly innovated our product processes and brought in product gurus from Silicon Valley like Marty Cagan and Jeff Patton to train our teams and accelerate our growth even further. We introduced dual-track agile and product discovery to our 10 product teams and
transformed the teams from delivering features into an objective and data-driven approach governed by OKRs.

Go-to-market in modern B2B companies relies on data for driving decisions and actions. And with the move towards increasingly digital buyer journeys and buyers putting themselves in the driver seat of the process that is becoming harder and more important at the same time.

I have experienced how not having access to holistic and structured data that covers your full GTM funnel across marketing, product, sales and customer success leads to poor decisions and inability to action data. In turn leading to sub optimal growth.

It's a paradox: B2Bs are drowning in data. But processing the data into something useful, something that can deliver insights and drive automations is super hard. And often companies end up trying to work directly with raw data leading to poor outcomes.
