Personally, I find the job search to be truly dreadful. It is exhausting, soul-crushing, depressing, dispiriting- actually, I will run out time before I run of negative emotions on this topic!

Watch what Gemini creates. It builds a working prototype. Then comes the real work. Testing it, finding what doesn't work quite right, and telling Gemini how to fix it. Tianyu discovered the app needed a crop tool to handle image aspect ratios better. He asked for that. Gemini added it. That back-and-forth is where learning happens.

This process took Tianyu about an hour of tweaking and testing until he had something that actually solved real problems. That's the honest part nobody talks about. But it's the part that matters for your team.

The takeaway? Your staff doesn't need to be programmers. They need to be clear about what they want and willing to test and adjust. That's the AI fluency you're really teaching them. Thanks again to Tianyu Xu for showing us this is truly possible.

In U.S. kindergartens, bus behavior often emerges from Positive Discipline frameworks: children hold class meetings to co-create safety guidelines, brainstorm solutions to misbehavior, and face logical consequences when they choose not to cooperate—fostering an internal locus of control and respect for group norms.

In Japan, a playful role-play model brings the bus into the classroom: young students don makeshift mustaches to act as elderly passengers, practice holding imaginary overhead straps, and rehearse offering seats—all designed to instill empathy, collective responsibility, and the art of gaman (enduring with dignity) from their very first ride.

These foundational exercises mirror adult social norms. Japanese culture’s emphasis on gaman and group harmony stands in contrast to the American tradition of rights advocacy and individual assertion—differences that shape everything from workplace dynamics to civic participation in later life.

Those cultural distinctions also appear in hard data. The U.S. intentional homicide rate is nearly 14 times higher than Japan’s, and according to Numbeo’s Crime Index, the U.S. scores 49.3 versus Japan’s 22.6—reflecting divergent approaches to gun control, community cohesion, and social trust.

Bus-edge lessons aren’t just about safety—they lay the groundwork for how we treat each other as adults.

The Power of a Hug via Syed Danish Zaidi!

BANGKOK — When a man erupted into a police station brandishing a knife, Senior Sgt. Maj. Anirut Malee did not reach for his sidearm or tackle down the assailant.

Instead, Anirut calmly talked to the intruder and eventually convinced him to hand over the knife.

The June 17 incident at Huai Khwang Police Station was captured on security camera, footage of which later went viral on social media, where many praised Anirut for using kindness rather than violence to resolve tensions. In a phone interview Friday, the officer said he was merely following a procedure taught to every police cadet: talk first, shoot later.

“We try to negotiate first,” said Anirut, who’s been a cop for 23 years. “I could have wrestled him down and taken his knife away, but what if he ended up hurting himself?”

The officer said he was working that night when he heard shouts that someone had entered the police station armed with a knife.

Anirut said he ordered all other policemen to leave the area and started talking with the intruder. He gathered the man was stressed because his employer had cheated him of his salary and someone had recently stolen his guitar.

“I told him, ‘Please calm down, brother. If you want a guitar, I can give you one. I promise you, but you must lay down your knife first,’” Anirut recalled. “I had to make him feel he could trusts me.”

Anirut said he gave the assailant a hug after he surrendered the knife because he’s a Muslim from Songkhla province, where it is common for people to hug each other as greetings.

The policeman said it’s not the first time he had to defuse a tense situation by talks. Anirut said he once successfully convinced a suicidal person not to jump off a building.

When the video reached social media in the US, many users contrasted Anirut’s calm demeanor with the trigger-happy nature of some American police officers.

“If that was in America he would have been shot dead instantly, then handcuffed, shot again, sued, questioned, shot more and jailed for life,” wrote Chris Tyrrell in a Facebook thread.

Another user, Stevee Jenkins, also wrote in the same thread, “If this had happened in the US that man would be dead, so nice to see a human being that relates and shows compassion to another human!”

In June 2025, 21.6% of US employees worked remotely at least part time, down slightly from 22.3% in June 2024. Hybrid roles now account for 53.1% of workers who spend any time at home, compared to 46.9% in fully remote positions. Only 27% of companies will be back to a fully in-person model by year’s end, while 67% continue to offer hybrid flexibility.


𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱

•	64% of US employees now prefer remote or hybrid roles over working from the office every day.
•	61% of companies have formal RTO policies requiring employees to work on-site a minimum number of days each week.
•	The share of workers under office-mandate policies rose to 75% in late 2024, up from 63% in early 2023.
•	46% of employees say they’d look for a new job if their employer stopped allowing remote or hybrid work.


𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵

In 2026 and beyond, organizations will refine return-to-office strategies using real-time utilization data and activity-based planning. Expect policies that:

•	Tie in-office days to project milestones, collaborative sprints, and mentorship sessions
•	Leverage AI-driven space optimization and smart scheduling to personalize the workplace
•	Blend virtual and in-person experiences through VR/AR or hybrid event platforms

This evolution will shift RTO from a mandate to a tailored, outcome-driven experience.

Many teams rush into using AI agents without a clear strategy, often ending up with bloated, unreliable systems. Building powerful, production-grade AI agents requires discipline, structure, and thoughtful design choices. Here are 10 essential principles that separate hobby projects from scalable solutions:

𝟏. 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐃𝐢𝐝
Use agents only where they truly add value. If a simple tool integration works, don’t overcomplicate it with orchestration.
