It was 8:36pm when I noticed a shadow run across the wall…

I didn’t think much of it.
Probably another gecko 🦎
I love watching those little guys running around the walls.

Plus, I was mid-conversation with our newest team member… deep in work mode.

But then… it happened again.

I looked up and almost launched myself out of the chair as a giant spider came sprinting towards my desk.

Wow 😳

Biggest spider I’ve ever seen.
At least 4 inches wide.
(No exaggeration)

I ran into the other room with my laptop to finish the call, and then went back to assess the situation.

As a yogi, I practice non-harm.
So killing it wasn’t an option.

So there I was…
An empty box in one hand.
A short broom in the other.

Miss Blue Eyes behind me, creating a makeshift barricade with yoga mats and pillows to stop it escaping into the bedroom.

Both our hearts pounding as I searched the corners of the office, trying to locate this ninja-level spider 🥷 

And in that moment I realised something:

There are two ways to approach situations like this:

A. Stressed, overthinking, second-guessing your strategy

OR

B. Calm, grounded, confident, trusting you’ll handle whatever comes up

So I chose option B.

A quick sweep with the brush.
A smooth capture with the box.
And one safely relocated spider back into the wild.

But here’s the insight:

Most people live their entire life in Group A.

Always under pressure.
Constant mental noise.
Never enough time.

But life doesn’t have to be lived that way.

When you shift into Group B…

Where your mind is calm.
Your energy is steady.

And you trust yourself, everything becomes easier:

❤️ Your business
❤️ Your relationships

All of it improves.

- the income
- the opportunities
- and the momentum…
They all followed naturally.

One of the greatest life lessons I learned was  from working with young people. They  showed me that when life comes at you fast it’s hard to focus on your future, because the traumas of our life are so present.

Fast forward 10 or 15 years and you are now 23, 30, or 37 and the childhood traumas you experienced still holds you back from being the greatest version of yourself. Our past is so connected to our present. For me, I didn’t break free of my mental prison until I was 32. 

I had a conversation with my father about our relationship that I was scared to have for 18 years. I cried, he spoke. In 20 minutes I lifted the heaviest burden off of my soul to become a better partner, father, brother, son, speaker, entrepreneur and ultimately a better coach for you.

Once you’re free, the mind is able to create and flourish while your greatness is being held to a higher standard by a coach, ME! As you move into the future I want to ensure you are confident in your decision making to fight against the fluidity and insecurity that can plague our lives. I’m not coaching you for just results.
