With 25 years of experience in digital design, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless businesses — from startup to Fortune 50 —  navigate their design and marketing challenges.

On the SaaS product side, as a UX & UI design specialist, I’m particularly jazzed about making complex screens feel simple — even for expert users. I believe good design gets out of the way (for the user), but can be a powerful weapon (for sales).

On the marketing side, I focus on streamlining design as a vehicle for the real important stuff: content marketing and demand generation. I’ve seen how the right design can amplify a brand’s message and drive significant growth.

Xenial – Cloud Based Restaurant Management Platform

Projects included: 

-Collaborated with the founding team at Actionaly, an EdTech platform that streamlines communications between K-12 schools and families. End-to-end redesign including user interviews, wireframes and prototype.

- Partnered with an early-stage start-up (stealth mode) to design the first MVP of a social commerce platform focused on environmental sustainability.

-Managed a project for the design team of 4 to implement a rebrand for Global Peace Train, a complex nonprofit organization. Designed a research plan to recruit users through surveying and interviews.

CCSD Sport Event Management

I assisted in coordinating the  2016 Paso Robles Cycling Festival for 1,200 guests. Pre-event, I managed multiple projects including marketing, social media management, cold-calls for partnerships and registration tech support. During the event, I managed the registration desk, provided hospitality support for guests for the duration of the event, and built and hosted activities. I have also had the pleasure of providing staff support for large events with the Challenged Athletes Foundation, American Diabetes Association, Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer Institute, Act Today for Military Families and more!

I established national presence by co-opening, managing, and staffing an on-site office with 150 employees. I was responsible for conducting recruitment, interviews and training for manufacturing facilities in Iowa, Nebraska, and Alabama. Upon hiring, I facilitated on-boarding for all new employees; drug testing, orientation, and benefits paperwork.
