As a fractional CFO I use the 10+ years I spent working IN a law firm to help law firm owners gain an in-depth understanding of their firm’s financial picture. 

I am on a mission to help law firm owners become confident in their law firm finances. When firm owners have big financial goals, the first step to reaching those goals is making strategic financial decisions.

I started as a legal assistant and worked my way up through the “law firm ranks”. I know how a law firm runs day to day. When you hire me as your fCFO I bring my financial expertise and my law firm operational experience to our meetings. 

I love working with law firms because they are unique in the small business world. Revenue can be a roller coaster and expenses are unique to law firms. 

I work with law firm owners who are in all different growth phases. This includes.

•	Firms who are hiring their first employees and making the jump from a true solo firm to a firm that has growth in their future. 
•	Firms that are pushing towards their first 7-figure year, hiring associates, and taking their expenses to the next level. 
•	Firms that have reached the big 7-figure milestone and are looking to grow in the coming years. 
•	Firms that are generating revenue but feel overwhelmed with expenses and very little profit. 
•	Firm Owners who are looking for an outside consultant to give them confidence in their finances. 

As a fractional CFO for law firms, I improve financial operations by providing strategic financial guidance, managing cash flow, and analyzing financial data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

I'm passionate about leading purposefully, creating a positive impact, and driving results. As the Chief Operating Officer at Viles & Beckman, I've had the privilege of helping grow our firm from 12 employees to over 40, while increasing our revenue by 94% in just two years. Along the way, I've worked hard to build a workplace culture that I’m incredibly proud of—a culture that's earned us recognition as the Best Place to Work in Southwest Florida for two years running, along with a Great Place to Work certification and three Patriotic Employer Awards.

This year, Viles & Beckman was also named the Best Personal Injury Law Firm in Southwest Florida in the Florida Best of awards—an achievement that highlights the dedication and passion of our entire team.

I'm currently in my 19th year of service as a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy Reserve, where I lead and train Sailors while balancing my duties at the firm. My military experience has shaped who I am as a leader, giving me the tools to make tough decisions, manage large teams, and navigate high-pressure situations. These skills have directly contributed to my role at the firm, where I oversee everything from operations and strategy to marketing, hiring, and finances.

My path into the legal world began after experiencing a personal injury and dealing with the frustrations of battling insurance companies. That experience ignited my passion for personal injury law, and over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked in just about every role in the field. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of what our clients go through, and I work every day to ensure that Viles & Beckman is a place where they feel supported and empowered.

On a personal note, I’m a breast cancer survivor, and my journey has made me passionate about helping others facing similar challenges. I’ve been honored to serve as a voice for hope and resilience, including being named one of the American Cancer Society’s “Faces of Hope” in 2020.

At the core of everything I do is my belief that hard work, faith, and the support of those around us can make anything possible. Whether it’s leading teams, growing our firm, or raising my two daughters, I strive to make a difference and leave a lasting impact.
