As a fractional CFO I use the 10+ years I spent working IN a law firm to help law firm owners gain an in-depth understanding of their firm’s financial picture. 

I am on a mission to help law firm owners become confident in their law firm finances. When firm owners have big financial goals, the first step to reaching those goals is making strategic financial decisions.

I started as a legal assistant and worked my way up through the “law firm ranks”. I know how a law firm runs day to day. When you hire me as your fCFO I bring my financial expertise and my law firm operational experience to our meetings. 

I love working with law firms because they are unique in the small business world. Revenue can be a roller coaster and expenses are unique to law firms. 

I work with law firm owners who are in all different growth phases. This includes.

•	Firms who are hiring their first employees and making the jump from a true solo firm to a firm that has growth in their future. 
•	Firms that are pushing towards their first 7-figure year, hiring associates, and taking their expenses to the next level. 
•	Firms that have reached the big 7-figure milestone and are looking to grow in the coming years. 
•	Firms that are generating revenue but feel overwhelmed with expenses and very little profit. 
•	Firm Owners who are looking for an outside consultant to give them confidence in their finances. 

As a fractional CFO for law firms, I improve financial operations by providing strategic financial guidance, managing cash flow, and analyzing financial data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

From a “consultant” perspective, I believe it is my role to be the educator. I want those I work with to understand the WHY behind why we do what we do.

I scaled my paralegal business to $500k right from this camper. 

Less than 3 years prior to living here, I was making $15 an hour. My husband and I were opening foreclosure notices on our house, trying to figure out how we were going to cover it + our overdrawn bank account. 

On March 23, 2020, I felt desperate enough to try starting a paralegal business. I didn’t have much hope, knowing nothing takes off over night, and the relief we needed was urgent. 

By the grace of God, I was given enough time to get my first client, then my second, fifth, so on and so forth. 

By the end of that year, I was invoicing out $30,000. 

Fast forward to this photo, my business gave us the opportunity to sell that house we once were barely holding on to, and build our dream home for us and our two littles 
(and the dogs) from the ground up. 

We lived in this camper while it was being built. And that year, I took my business to $500k - with 1 mbps wifi speeds pinging off of my in laws house, and a 3 and 8 year old running back and forth. 

This is why I am so passionate about helping other paralegals start businesses. 

For no other reason than what my own did for me, and watching other paralegals wrestle with the curiosity of if it could work for them like I was for far too long. 

I want to yell from the roof tops: YES. IT CAN WORK.

If the $15 per hour paralegal, career hopeless and financially terrified version of me could have seen how I worked today, she’d have been like… no way.

Personal errands set me 1.5 hours away from my middle of nowhere, in the woods home office today. So I took advantage of my limited time with “Corporate America” at Starbucks.
