Lead in the operational management and implementation of activities related to the conception, design, creation, development, and production of media—video, audio, graphics, multimedia, and other forms of digital media—for diverse audiences, including internal and external stakeholders. This includes the strategic and operational management and implementation of activities related to media distribution, including broadcast, online, and any other platforms or events used to support or distribute digital media.

The Sr. Media Manager also leads the management and maintenance of facilities and equipment that support the production and distribution of media and media-related activities.

Conceptualizing, developing, designing, producing, editing, and directing media projects
Operating, maintaining, and/ overseeing media facilities, production, and distribution-related activities
Intermediate planning, organizing, directing, and facilitating skills
Define work objectives, plans, priorities, and deadlines and delegate routine tasks appropriately
Reviewing and approving the completed work of others (internal/external) to verify technical soundness and adherence to deadlines
Identifying and implementing changes/improvements to quality improvement processes, procedures, policies, and plans
Supervisng vendors and coordinating activities to ensure the successful completion of tasks

What this “Federal Hemp Ban” really means and why this is far from over

On Wednesday, language effectively banning hemp-derived cannabinoids was slipped into the bill to reopen the government.

This wasn’t public will.
It was political maneuvering.

A small group in Congress have pushed prohibition-style bans for years and could never get the support - not when they are up against millions of consumers and an industry worth tens of billions in economic value that supports hundreds of thousands of American jobs.

So they decided to bury it in a must-pass bill.

That is why it got through - not because the country wanted it.

And that’s why this is far from over.


So what happens now? 

1. The industry continues operations

This "ban" doesn’t take effect for a year.

Business continues exactly as it does today:

• Products ship
• Stores sell
• Customers buy


2. The industry is aligning - and it must

We’ve been divided for too long - formats, mg limits, extraction methods, all pulling us apart. That fragmentation slowed real progress.

This moment changes that.
Alignment is now the only path forward.

The majority of stakeholders and associations will move together.

Unity and compromise aren’t optional - they’re how we amend this legislation. 

A full-court press is already underway to amend this ban into a sensible regulatory framework that actually reflects what Americans, access and consumer protection.


3. If for any reason, the ban is not amended, hemp doesn’t disappear - it shifts: 

Hemp becomes a state-based model, not a dead industry

Most states already have hemp regulations which will continue to evolve. 

Intrastate manufacturing and distribution remain viable, although more complex, supply chains adapt, and the demand will continue to grow creating a path forward for the industry. 


4. Functional alternatives will continue to boom

Consumers want healthier ways to feel good.

Brands like Recess, TRIP, and hiyo are scaling fast with adaptogens and botanical products without these regulatory headaches.

At BRĒZ:

• 30%+ of revenue is from our functional line

• National retailers are leaning in - we're on the shelves at Sprouts, H-E-B, Wegmans, and many others - they see the shift and are adapting quickly. 

• Demand will continue to grow and more brands will expand into this sector.


5. What this means for BRĒZ:

Over this next year, we will:

• Operate exactly as we do today albeit more efficiently for max adaptability

• Work with the industry to amend this into sensible regulation

• Be ready for a state-by-state model if needed

• Continue scaling our functional line so our mission never depends on politics


The bottom line?

This “ban” passed because of politics - not the public’s will.

Exactly why it's unlikely to survive this next year without significant reform.

• The demand is undeniable.

• The industry is unifying.

• And prohibition has never worked.

We have one year. Let’s move.
