i never thought I'd get to write this post.

not long ago i was yet another unemployed student. 

struggled with anxiety and depression.
couldn't land an interview at "my dream" company. 

i'd given up on myself, my dreams and future. 

but my dad never did. not once. 

where i saw struggle, he saw opportunity.

see, my dad grew up poor. picking cotton from the fields in mexico. he worked day and night to get out of it. 

just to be able to give me a life worth living. 

and every day i make sure i do. 

because if i can't do it for me, i'm doing it for him. 

can't complain about my plate being full when the goal was to eat. 

grateful to everyone who's given me a platform to grow.

My 4-step writing framework is unbeatable.

(If you're stuck at low likes and impressions, read this)

Everyone is talking about the algorithm changing.
But small creators are going viral using this hack.

I called it the SLAY Framework:

1. The first 3 lines of your post should be a story.
2. Then on line 4 lead with a lesson for your audience.
3. Add to the post using actionable advice (listicles).
4. Finish with a question that puts the ball in their court.

Storytelling is the ultimate weapon for LinkedIn growth.

Because in a platform oversaturated with information...
Don't focus on facts, focus on emotions.

They'll remember you forever.

You don't need algorithm hacks to grow on LinkedIn.

I spent the last 90 days testing every growth hack I could find. Here's what actually works:

(Based on analyzing content in different niches)

1. Hyper-specific content (3x a week)

• Solve one exact problem per post
• Use industry language your clients use
• Speak directly to one person

Adam Robinson has mastered this for B2B. 
Nausheen I. Chen is killing it for B2C. 

Address their problems directly. 

i.e "Stop losing credibility with your body language."

2. Proof-First Content

80% tactical step-by-step frameworks and screenshots.
20% stories on how you're doing it (use stories)

The 80% builds trust, the 20% engages them more. 

Educate and storytell. Always both. 

3. LinkedIn Video (let me explain...)

Video reach might be down right now.
But it's the fastest way to prove authority. 

LinkedIn video is ok.
Linkedin Lives? They're a goldmine.

We had a LinkedIn live with 200 people.
Made $10,000 from it. 

People buy from people they trust. Video accelerates this! 

I'd limit these to 2 a month, though, no pressure.

I built my first business to 6-figures after class.

6. If you haven't yet, write about how this helped you

8. Create content around these repeating steps 1-5

One fool-proof way to get clients (free or paid):

1. Search for people who look like you can help on Linky.
2. Send them a loom or gamma doc with your system
3. Tell them step-by-step how you can help immediatley 

Do this 20x a week, I guarantee you'll land a client.

Bonus tip: Implement your offer for them for free, so they can see the value of your work instantly. 

Trust me, after 4 weeks coaching next to 8-figure agency owners, this STILL works. 

This is what I did too, and would do again. 

No website, no crazy credentials, not even a logo.

Literally just a calendly link, a canva pitch and content that made people reach out.

Closed clients with the loom approach.

Your prospects don't buy coaching. 

They buy tribal membership.

Had a conversation with a high-ticket coach who was KILLING it in the "executive transformation" space.

Asked him what made his positioning different.

His answer blew my mind:

"I don't talk about what I teach. I talk about who my clients become."

See, here's what most coaches get wrong...

They lead with their METHODOLOGY.

Their frameworks. Their systems. Their certifications.

But prospects don't give a damn about your process.

They care about BELONGING.

There's this thing called Social Identity Theory...

Discovered by Henri Tajfel back in the 70s.

It basically proves that humans will do ANYTHING to feel like they're part of the "winning group."

And AVOID anything that makes them feel like outsiders.

Most 5-figure coaches accidentally trigger "out-group" categorization.

They position themselves as the expert...

And the prospect as the broken person who needs fixing.

That dynamic creates psychological RESISTANCE.

But smart coaches?

They flip the script entirely.

They position their prospects as ALREADY being part of an elite tribe.

"You're the kind of person who..."

"Executives like you understand..."

"High-performers already know that..."

Suddenly, the coaching isn't about transformation.

It's about OPTIMIZATION.

You're not broken. You're just upgrading.

The sale becomes less about convincing...

And more about confirming tribal membership.

Which explains why that coach I mentioned closes 80%+ of his discovery calls.

He's not selling coaching.

He's selling a VIP pass to the tribe his prospects ALREADY see themselves in.

And it's still converting at 2%.  Here's why.

Just audited a baseball training academy's landing page...

Current conversion rate: ~2%
Potential after fixes: 8%

Here's what's killing their conversions (and probably yours too):

Mistake #1: Wrong audience awareness

They opened with: "Fundamentally changing ballplayers into peak performers."

Sounds professional, right? Here's WHY it's wrong:

Their audience is SOLUTION AWARE (they know they need training)... But they're writing for people who already know their company.

Massive mismatch.

The fix: "Why do some players add 10+ MPH while others plateau despite endless practice?"

Creates immediate curiosity for the RIGHT audience.

Mistake #2: No emotional trigger

The real buying decision happens after a triggering event.

For baseball parents: sitting in the car after their kid struggles... Thinking: "He's a junior. College coaches decide in 6 months. Are we running out of time?"

The page ignores this completely.

No problem identification. No urgency. No emotional amplification.

Mistake #3: Sounds like everyone else

Minneapolis has 10+ baseball facilities. Everyone promises "velocity gains."

Their page sounds identical to competitors.

The market needs a unique mechanism: "The Kinetic Sequencing Protocol used by 12 MLB organizations..."

Mistake #4: Zero risk reversal

Parents spending serious money on their kid's dreams... With zero guarantee.

That's a massive conversion barrier.

"Add 3+ MPH or full refund + 4 free sessions" removes all purchase risk.

Mistake #5: Fake scarcity

"LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE" means nothing.

Limited how? By when? What happens if I wait?

Real scarcity: "January Cohort: 17/24 spots filled. Deadline: Dec 20th. Next session starts March (after showcase season)."

The bottom line:

Most landing pages fail because they focus on features... Instead of understanding the psychological triggers that drive decisions.

This page could triple conversions without changing their offer or price.

Just by fixing the psychological messaging.

Most businesses are sitting on massive untapped potential... They just don't know the frameworks to unlock it.

I married my best friend 3 weeks ago.

Here's what it taught me about sales and marketing. 

Oh, I won't bore you with that at all.

Here's a highlight of what has been going on in my life over the last month:

- I married my adorable Wife and we attended the same primary school wayyy back in '05

- I played around with AI agents because it still fascinates me.

- We moved into our new apartment with my wife and I work from my home office.

In ALL God has been kind and faithful, and it feels good to share my thoughts here again.

One of the things I am seeing in the world of copywriting, and marketing is the rate at which even top companies implement AI. 

Now you can spilt-test ad creatives before you say the word JACK.

Many of us are still priding ourselves of being a "Human copywriter" as if they don't use Google docs to write ( you could have used pen and paper since its more human LOL).

I have gone all in on AI on advance levels.

I can get market intelligence report that cuts deep into what any prospect is writing in their 2AM journals.

I can get hooks that shows my prospect's Ephiphany Threshold so I KNOW what to say and avoid saying like a PLAGUE.

This and many more.

AI has been invaluable for me.

I can wait to share all I have been learning.

Oh I am also organizing all my stuff in Claude Projects now not just custom bots like I used to.

Raw authenticity is like having a Ferrari with no steering wheel.

Powerful? Sure.

But you're gonna crash into every wall.

The entrepreneurs crushing it consistently?

They built SYSTEMS around their authentic strengths.

They didn't throw out who they are...

They amplified the parts that actually convert.

Think about it:

→ Gary Vee's authentic energy... channeled through consistent content frameworks.

→ Russell Brunson's genuine excitement... structured through proven funnel systems.

→ Alex Hormozi's natural directness... systematized into repeatable processes.

They didn't choose between authentic and structured.

They chose BOTH.

Because authenticity + structure = predictable revenue.

Your personality becomes the fuel.

Your systems become the engine.

Stop thinking it's an either/or game.

Your authentic voice is your competitive advantage...

But only when it's running through proven frameworks that actually sell.

The market doesn't care how "real" you are if you can't solve their problems predictably.

Build systems that amplify your strengths.

Not systems that hide them.

Edward Thorndike discovered this in 1920.

Coaches are still getting destroyed by it in 2025.

I just watched a business coach lose a $50K client...

Because of a single TYPO in their bio.

Sounds crazy, right?

But here's what actually happened:

This coach had INCREDIBLE results. 7-figure business. Amazing client testimonials.

But one tiny grammar mistake on LinkedIn made the prospect think:

"If they can't proofread their own profile... how can they help me scale my business?"

Welcome to the dark side of the Halo Effect.

Most coaches know about the POSITIVE halo effect:

One impressive credential makes prospects assume you're good at everything.

Like when you see "Harvard MBA" and suddenly think they're brilliant at marketing, sales, strategy, AND mindset coaching.

But here's what Edward Thorndike discovered in 1920...

And what 99% of coaches STILL don't understand:

The halo effect works BOTH ways.

One small credibility flaw can contaminate everything else about how prospects see you.

I call it "Credibility Contamination."

Your brain literally can't help it.

It's hardwired to make these snap judgments.

So that grammar mistake?

It didn't just make them question the coach's attention to detail.

It made them question their ENTIRE ability to deliver results.

The scary part?

Most coaches are accidentally triggering NEGATIVE halos every single day.

Through their website copy...

Their social media posts...

Even how they show up on Zoom calls...

One inconsistency. One moment of looking "unprofessional."

And suddenly your Harvard MBA doesn't matter anymore.

Your testimonials get discounted.

Your track record gets questioned.

All because your brain got lazy with ONE small detail.

The fix?

Audit your entire client journey for "credibility leaks."

Every touchpoint. Every piece of content. Every interaction.

Ask yourself: "What negative halo could this create?"

Because in the coaching world...

Your credibility isn't built on your BEST moment.

It's destroyed by your WORST one.

And once that negative halo takes hold?

Good luck convincing someone you're worth their investment.
