그럼 나는 뭘 하냐고?
"이 방향이 맞아."

결정한다.

AI가 초안을 5분 만에 쏟아내도,
"이걸로 간다"고 선언하는 건 결국 나다.
책에서 쓴 문장이 떠오른다.

책을 쓰면서 그 말을 매일 체험하고 있다.

Atlassian이 11,000명 직원에게 AI 프로토타이핑을 확산시킨 방법이 인상적이었습니다.

디자인 시스템 팀의 Lewis Healey와 Kylor Hall 인터뷰에서 배운 핵심을 공유합니다.

문제는 단순했습니다.

AI에게 "Atlassian 스타일로 만들어줘"라고 하면
네비게이션이 매번 틀리게 생성됨.
사람들이 이것만 고치는 데 2-3시간을 낭비.

그들의 해결책: 미리 코딩된 템플릿

핵심 인사이트는 이것이었습니다:

"AI는 무에서 유를 창조하는 것보다
기존 코드를 수정하는 데 훨씬 뛰어나다"

복잡한 요소는 미리 코딩해두고,
AI는 콘텐츠만 채우게 함.

1) Tailwind로 번역하기
→ AI가 아는 언어로 먼저 설명하고, 원하는 컴포넌트로 매핑

2) 복사 가능한 명령어 내장
→ 사용자가 프롬프트 작성할 필요 없이 클릭 한 번으로 정확한 명령 실행

3) 프린터 교정 시트 기법
→ AI에게 스크린샷을 보여주고 "어떻게 보여?" 물어봄
→ AI의 눈으로 보는 법을 배우고 지침 조정

대규모 도입에서 가장 효과적이었던 것:

• AI Builders Week: 전사 일주일간 도구 내려놓고 AI만 배움
• Slack봇 활용: 채널 공지는 무시되지만, 개인 DM은 응답률 높음
• 리더가 먼저 사용: 디자인 리뷰에서 프로토타입 시연 → 바이럴 효과

이 인터뷰의 가장 큰 교훈:

AI 프로토타이핑은 도구 문제가 아니라 도입(Adoption) 문제입니다.

기술보다 사람과 프로세스에 집중한 접근법이
대기업에서 AI 도입을 고민하는 분들께 좋은 참고가 될 것 같습니다.

This was a true 0-to-1 journey to me. I had the privilege of leading the product experience and visual design system from concept to launch—building the end-to-end UX flow, defining the visual and brand identity, integrating new ways of using AI into my design and prototyping process, and pioneering novel interface patterns for AI generative 3D worlds.

From collaborating with engineering on implementation, to generating Genie worlds for gallery and social posts, to crafting the launch and demo videos, it’s been a journey envisioning the future of Genie with the dream team at Google Creative Lab and Google Labs.
