디자인 시스템 팀의 Lewis Healey와 Kylor Hall 인터뷰에서 배운 핵심을 공유합니다.

AI에게 "Atlassian 스타일로 만들어줘"라고 하면
네비게이션이 매번 틀리게 생성됨.
사람들이 이것만 고치는 데 2-3시간을 낭비.

핵심 인사이트는 이것이었습니다:

"AI는 무에서 유를 창조하는 것보다

• AI Builders Week: 전사 일주일간 도구 내려놓고 AI만 배움
• Slack봇 활용: 채널 공지는 무시되지만, 개인 DM은 응답률 높음
• 리더가 먼저 사용: 디자인 리뷰에서 프로토타입 시연 → 바이럴 효과

이 인터뷰의 가장 큰 교훈:

AI 프로토타이핑은 도구 문제가 아니라 도입(Adoption) 문제입니다.

기술보다 사람과 프로세스에 집중한 접근법이
대기업에서 AI 도입을 고민하는 분들께 좋은 참고가 될 것 같습니다.

A massive start for 2026: today we launched Project Genie 🔮🧞 A place you can view, explore, and create interactive worlds with Genie 3.

This was a true 0-to-1 journey to me. I had the privilege of leading the product experience and visual design system from concept to launch—building the end-to-end UX flow, defining the visual and brand identity, integrating new ways of using AI into my design and prototyping process, and pioneering novel interface patterns for AI generative 3D worlds.

From collaborating with engineering on implementation, to generating Genie worlds for gallery and social posts, to crafting the launch and demo videos, it’s been a journey envisioning the future of Genie with the dream team at Google Creative Lab and Google Labs.

Fun fact: all(most) of my pets are Genie famous now 🤪
