I cleared CA, CFA, and ACCA while working 60-hour weeks.

People think I'm lying.

But here's the truth: I didn't have a choice.

It was 2 AM.

Eyes burning. Client presentation at 9 AM. CFA exam in 3 weeks. 

My colleagues called me insane.
My friends stopped inviting me out.
My family feared I'd break.

But I kept one rule: If it's on the calendar, it happens.

My schedule:

6:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Study (CFA/ACCA)
Before the world woke up. Before emails flooded in.

9:00 AM – 7:00 PM: Work
Full-time. No excuses. I owed my company my best.

9:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Study 
Every. Single. Night.

Weekends: 12-hour study marathons. Broken only by table tennis (my sanity saver).

The hardest part?

Not the syllabus. The doubt.

"You're doing too much."
"You'll fail at everything."
"Pick one."

But I knew: Discipline doesn't negotiate.

What kept me going:

📅 Every hour blocked. No room for excuses.
🎯 One focus at a time. Work = work. Study = study.
📊 Track progress. Every chapter. Every mock test.

The result?

✅ CA – Cleared
✅ CFA (all 3 levels) – Passed
✅ ACCA – Completed

All while working full-time.

Not because I'm smarter.
Because I refused to negotiate with my calendar.

Truth bomb:

Success isn't about having time.
It's about making time non-negotiable.

If you wait for the "right time" - you'll wait forever.

To anyone juggling work, exams, and dreams:

You don't need 24 hours.
You need 2 focused hours.

You don't need motivation.

"I was carrying 25 kgs of books to the exam hall."

"I carried two suitcases."

"It felt like a Railway Station, not an exam center."

This was the reality of the new IBS (Integrated Business Solutions) paper for CA Final students.

I was talking to AIR 1, 2 & 3 (Mukund Agiwal, Tejas Mundada, and Bakul Gupta), and they shared a hilarious but scary reality.

Even though they realized that practically, you can't open every book in 4 hours. But the fear of "What if?" makes you carry everything.

So, how did they tackle this subject?

Here is the combined strategy of the Toppers:

=> AIR 2 (Tejas): He created a One-Pager Index just to know which chapter is in which module. When you have 5 modules for FR and 4 for DT, just finding the right book is a task.

=> AIR 3 (Bakul): He made his Own Index during revision. He spent 4-5 days mapping topics himself instead of buying a ready-made index. He also solved one case study daily with a timer.

=> AIR 1 (Mukund): He focused purely on Time Management. He solved case studies orally to cover variety and recommended giving Mocks because IBS is not just a test of knowledge, but of speed.

The lesson? IBS isn't just a test of your mental ability. It is a test of your physical strength to carry the load!

I studied 6,400+ hours to clear CA and CFA.

Here's what compounded - and it wasn't just knowledge.

Here's the breakdown:

CA Foundation: 600 Hours
Last month: 12 hours/day × 30 days = 360 hours
Coaching: 2 months × 4 hours/day × 30 days = 240 hours
Total: 600 hours

I learned to show up when motivation was zero.​

CA Intermediate: 2,232 Hours
Last 3 months: 12 hours/day × 90 days = 1,080 hours
Coaching: 6 months × 8 hours/day × 24 days = 1,152 hours
Total: 2,232 hours

I stopped expecting instant results.​
Some days nothing clicked.
But I still showed up.​

CA Finals: 3,060 Hours
Coaching: 8 subjects × 2 months each × 3 hours/day × 30 days = 1,440 hours

What actually compounded:

Just got a text from a placement officer in a University.
"8 out of 12 students we trained with you got offers this week."

These were the students who kept failing final rounds.
Good grades. Strong technical skills. But they'd freeze in behavioral interviews.

We ran a 4-day intensive two weeks ago.
Focus: answering "Tell me about yourself" without rambling for 5 minutes.
That's the whole training.

One question. Four days. Practice until it's muscle memory.

Result: 67% placement rate from a group that was 0-for-15 in previous rounds.
The placement officer said: "We thought they needed interview prep. They needed one answer done right."

Most placement training tries to cover everything.
I focus on the question that decides everything.

After training 200+ professionals this year, I noticed one pattern:

People don’t fail because of poor English but because of tiny habits that destroy credibility.

#1 Apologizing before speaking
“Sorry, this might be stupid but…”
→ Instant loss of authority.
Say: “Here’s what I’m thinking.”

#2 Using soft language instead of direct communication
“We should probably…” when you mean “you need to…”
Confusing. No ownership.

#3 Avoiding tough conversations to stay “nice”
Being nice ≠ being clear.

#4 Going silent when you don’t have an answer
Say: “Don’t have an answer yet — will update by EOD.”

Last month, I coached a client-facing team in a finance company struggling with all four.

We fixed these habits.
Three weeks later, their client-interaction scores went up by 40%.

Communication problems aren’t skill problems, they’re awareness problems.

Which one of these have you caught yourself doing this week?

A company asked me to fix 12 people in 2 weeks. 

Two weeks.
For a team of 12 people who genuinely didn’t enjoy presenting.

I joined their next client pitch.
Slides overloaded with text, lil eye contact, flat delivery.

The client was disengaged by slide 3.

But something stood out:
When the team spoke casually, without slides, they were clear, confident, and genuinely persuasive.

The issue wasn’t their communication ability. It was the presentation format.

So I didn’t “train them to present better.” I changed how they present.

New structure:
– Max 7 slides
– No bullet points
– Visuals + one-liners
– Everything else is a conversation

Three weeks later, the manager messaged me: “They closed a major deal. The client said it was the clearest pitch they’d seen.”

Same team. Same product. A better structure.

Sometimes the problem isn’t confidence or communication,
It’s the format.

Is your team dealing with the same thing?

I ask participants to introduce themselves at the start of every workshop.

Name. Role. One word to describe how they’re feeling today.

Last month’s session responses:
“Tired”
“Exhausted”
“Drained”
“Surviving”

Out of 24 people, only 3 gave a positive word.
And this wasn’t a burnout workshop — it was leadership communication training.

During breaks, I started asking more questions. The same patterns kept repeating:
•	“I sleep 8 hours but wake up tired”
•	“I’m constantly bloated”
•	“This belly weight just won’t move”
•	“I feel heavy after every meal”
I’ve heard this 40+ times across recent workshops.

Different companies. Same symptoms.

And here’s what clicked:
This isn’t just stress or workload — it’s the liver silently taking the impact.

We rarely think about liver health until something serious shows up.
But every single day, the liver is quietly working in the background — processing everything we eat and drink, filtering toxins and stress hormones, and powering metabolism and energy.

When the liver is overloaded, the first signals are subtle:
fatigue, bloating, stubborn belly weight, low stamina, and constant heaviness —
long before medical reports show a problem.

And here’s the most important point:
This isn’t about alcohol.

The modern lifestyle is putting tremendous silent pressure on the liver.

Long sitting hours, late-night meals, irregular eating windows, ultra-processed snacking, and constant stress hormones —
these are becoming the biggest drivers of liver overload today.

I was prepping for my next TEDx talk.
Until the organizers reminded me that a big platform doesn't mean basic respect.

Everything was confirmed.
I sent a follow-up about logistics. What came back made me read it twice to believe it was real.

They dropped me. No apology. Just comments about quality being compromised and zero accountability for backing out after confirming me.

Ideas worth spreading. That's what they say, right?
Guess respect for speakers didn't make the list.

I don't usually call things out. Most of us don't. 
We move on. Stay professional. Keep things clean.

But here's the thing. Staying quiet when someone treats you poorly doesn't make you professional. It just tells them it's okay to do it to the next person too.

And it has nothing to do with the frameworks or the trainer's skills.

It's because we're teaching people to drive while they're blindfolded.
The blindfold? Lack of self-awareness.

- The interrupter doesn't know they interrupt. 
- The vague emailer thinks they're being professional.

You teach them 15 techniques. 
They sit there thinking - "useful... for other people."

That's why I stopped starting with frameworks.

Week 1 is now mirror work.
1. Record yourself in a meeting. 
2. Get anonymous feedback from 5 colleagues. 
3. Read your last 10 emails like a stranger would.

Uncomfortable? Extremely. 
Skippable? Absolutely not.

You can't fix what you can't see.
