PowerOne Media, Inc., pioneered SaaS / Cloud based platforms for local media companies providing digital publishing and marketing platforms including a highly configurable CMS plus automotive, employment, classified, yellow page and targeted advertising product solutions.

As Co-Founder and VP, Product Management & Business Development Kurt led the product teams and business development to a market leading position of 1,800 local media customers with 20M+ monthly uniques.

Laboratory MicroSystems, Inc. established the concept of a robust LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) deployed on a PC - Client Server architecture with it’s LabVantage product for laboratory informatics.  LabVantage was the first fully configurable LIMS / Laboratory Informatics product that leveraged networking laboratory instruments, testing and reporting enabling organizations to redefine and optimize the way their laboratories conduct business significantly reducing the cost of laboratory automation.

Starting as Finance Director, then later with a dual role leading product QA/QC resulted in a promotion to VP Professional Services where Kurt led the US and European teams responsible for deploying LabVantage products and providing consulting services to clients.

At PowerOne Media, Kurt led the product teams and business development to a market leading position of 1,800 local media customers.

Kurt co-founded his latest venture, Somml Health, in 2017. Somml Health is a Digital Health Neighborhood that optimizes care delivery through connected data and communications between the patient, their family, and health care teams, in real-time.
