As Co-Founder and VP, Product Management & Business Development Kurt led the product teams and business development to a market leading position of 1,800 local media customers with 20M+ monthly uniques.

Laboratory MicroSystems, Inc. established the concept of a robust LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) deployed on a PC - Client Server architecture with it’s LabVantage product for laboratory informatics.  LabVantage was the first fully configurable LIMS / Laboratory Informatics product that leveraged networking laboratory instruments, testing and reporting enabling organizations to redefine and optimize the way their laboratories conduct business significantly reducing the cost of laboratory automation.

Starting as Finance Director, then later with a dual role leading product QA/QC resulted in a promotion to VP Professional Services where Kurt led the US and European teams responsible for deploying LabVantage products and providing consulting services to clients.
