It's embarrassing to say... but I postponed publishing my first social media post for 7 years 🥲

(if you’ve been overthinking posting online – or felt like “I’m good at my work, but I don’t know how to show it” – keep reading.)

So yeah... Seven. Frigging. Years.

Not because I had nothing to say.
Not because I wasn’t good at what I did.

But because I was afraid of:

• Being judged
• Sounding stupid
• “Not being ready yet”
• Posting the wrong thing
• Being visible before I felt confident

But eventually, I realized something:

Staying invisible was costing me more than being imperfect ever could.

Opportunities. Clients. Confidence. Momentum.

I knew I was meant for more than my 9-5 could offer me, so I started posting anyway – awkwardly, imperfectly, learning as I went.

Now, 2.5 years later, I have:

✔ Published 200+ posts on social media
✔ Gained 5,000+ followers across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
✔ Reached 1.16 Million views

...and today, I help experts and service-based specialists do what I struggled with for years:

1) Hook Like a Pro
↳ Make it bold, clear, emotional — under 10 words

2) Keep It Skimmable
↳ 1 idea per slide. Short lines. Big spacing

3) Build a Story Flow
↳ Problem → Agitate → Solve → Takeaway

4) Design That Guides
↳ Use spacing, arrows, and contrast to lead the eye

5) Visual Hierarchy
↳ Big headline → smaller subtext → tiny notes.

6) Use High-Quality Visuals

How to create a high-performing carousel

Your banner is prime space 

(If you follow these Do’s & Don’ts rules)

Your LinkedIn banner is either working
Or pushing clients away.

There’s no middle.

Most banners fail for one reason:
They look good but say nothing.

Here are 7 Banner Do’s & Don’ts you need to follow:
1. Clear CTA
✅ Do: Show one clear action in plain 
🚫Don’t: Hide it behind your profile photo

2. Clear Value
✅ Do: Say one clear benefit
🚫Don’t: Cram multiple messages

3. Visual Quality
✅ Do: Use sharp, clean images
🚫Don’t: Use blurry or pixelated visuals

4. Social Proof
✅ Do: Add logos, or results
🚫Don’t: Leave the banner empty

5. Right Size
✅ Do: Use 1584 × 396 px
🚫Don’t: Stretch or crop your design

6. Clean Layout
✅ Do: Keep colors & fonts simple
🚫Don’t: Overdesign to look cluttered

7. Smart Spacing
✅ Do: Leave space for the profile photo
🚫Don’t: Let it block key text or the CTA text

When I fixed these on my clients’ banner:
