I walked into HeadsQuarter in Zurich a few week agos remembering exactly where I was before I founding UXD Lab: 
the people I worked with, my grasp of tech, and my dreams.🧠✨

🤝 Giving freely pays big dividends:
I laid the foundation for my most impactful meetings today in the past- by giving freely, appreciating openly, and relating authentically.

We all need environments that foster this type of connection.

The biggest takeaway from my time back home in Switzerland?🏔️🎿

Switzerland and Southern California are leading the next wave of healthcare innovation.🩺 🚀

what struck me most wasn’t just the technology,🤖
it was how aligned both ecosystems already are. 💪🏻

As a Swiss founder building in the U.S. and as UXD Lab grows across 🇨🇭 + 🇺🇸, I’m seeing similar patterns emerge on both sides of the Atlantic.

Here’s what’s shaping 2026 👇🏻

1️⃣ Preventative care is becoming the default
↳ Healthcare is moving upstream.
↳ Platforms are leveraging data to predict need for care early, reducing costly interventions later, increasing quality of life, and transorfming how we relate to our bodies. 

2️⃣ Health & longevity rooted in data
↳ Investing in health is a privilege, but the companies winning in this space understand one thing 👉🏻 data is the foundation.
↳ Those who know how to prove their case, position responsibly, and ethically will dominate the next gen of health platforms.

3️⃣ Human-centric AI is rising fast
↳ Multi-modal engagement is no longer optional:
People want to speak to AI.
They want to interact across languages.
You can meet users where they actually are.

👉🏻 Shout-out to teams like Saipient AG (who we have the pleasure of working with 👀)  showing what’s possible when AI is designed for humans, not the other way around.

The opportunity most are missing 👇🏻
For US companies:
↳Switzerland is a great testing ground, especially businesses tied to insurance-driven models. The similarities between Swiss and California insurance systems make it an ideal validation market.

For Swiss companies:
↳ California is one of the most scalable, innovation-hungry markets in the world if you localize, position, and design for growth.

👉🏻If you skip positioning because the market is growing fast, 
you're capturing growth you can't compound. 

Nimble Science understood this:

They spent years developing the first ingestible device that samples directly from the small intestine, delivering gut data that's been fundamentally missing. 🧬✨

The science is breakthrough. 
Validation, there. 
Years of R&D invested. 

But, this impressed me most: 
Rather than rushing to scale, the team decided to map out their ecosystem.
↳Researchers need different insights than clinicians. 
↳Clinicians, partners, patients: each audience needs a distinct entry point.

Our sprint focused on creating clear pathways to reach each stakeholder group. 

This is what separates healthtech innovation that is adopted 🚀 from that which plateaus.❌

It's a question of discipline and doing your homework before the market tells you it's missing..

When pressure produces 💎 and the lessons you can take from it.

As a designer + entrepreneur, the biggest success I strive for isn't for clients to pick the designs that I think are the prettiest.

True success for us at UXD Lab is when our clients shine, find success and we, with our consulting and designs, play a part in getting them there. 💪🏻

Which is why I am overjoyed (!!) that xMotion was selected as a top 5 (!!) finalist at the #JPMHealthTechWeek in SF 🎉✨

Even more so, because we started working Rob Tondreault only 2 weeks ago and the order was tall 😮‍💨
▪️ Refine positioning
▪️ Translate positioning into new brand
▪️ Get all the marketing collateral ready for JPM Health Tech Week

The pressure was on!

And we were working across 3 different time zones:
>Rob in Asia
>Helena in California 
> me in Switzerland 
..and over the holidays. 👀

My learnings from this incredible collaboration:
💡 Don’t be afraid of aggressive timelines, but plan them with buffers and manage them actively.
💡 Turn limitations into levers: For us this meant leveraging asynchronous collaboration to get more hours out of the day
💡 Quick decisions making, be ok with them getting revisited.

Working with Rob is such a pleasure, because he is clear about what he wants and unafraid of quick decision making.

Seeing him xMotion recognized in SF at this pitch contest, and having success  is the icing on that cake. 🚀
