Using thermal analysis software to design, test, and optimize thermal management designs for on-orbit imaging applications. In other words: if a telescope gets too hot or too cold, it takes a bad picture. We try to prevent that from happening.

**Created new and custom playground designs for both residential and commercial customers, combining their budget, available area, and age of children to produce ideal design.
**Worked side-by-side with our manufacturing crew to write clear and effective manufacturing and installation specifications. 
**Converted entire product line from 2D top-down drawings into 3D CAD files, thus providing realistic images and fly-through movies for potential customers.

University of Rochester

Along with graduate engineering courses, I conducted research on reaction-diffusion-advection systems e.g. plankton blooms. In brief, this project involved seeding a laboratory RDA system with tracer particles, then using Matlab to simultaneously track particle movement and reaction growth, thereby linking the rate of reaction with the rate of advection. Presented findings at 2014 American Physical Society Division of Fluid Dynamics conference in San Francisco.

Assisted various healthcare networks optimize their radiology software, both during implementation and during day-to-day use. Tasks ranged from the soft-skills of organizing meetings to the technical skills of writing and debugging software code. Worked in concert with hospital IT staffs in Georgia, New York, and Oklahoma to find ideal workflows for their nurses'​ and doctors' specific needs.

I love sharing financial literacy and I pride myself on client education, having previously taught undergraduate engineering courses at the University of Rochester. I also founded and run *The Best Interest,* a free personal finance and investing blog nominated in 2022 as Personal Finance Blog of the Year. 

Prior to joining Cobblestone at the end of 2021, I worked for 7 years as a mechanical and aerospace engineer, designing and analyzing orbital satellite telescope systems.
