Edna Frimpong is an award-winning entrepreneur, popularly known as "The Shoemakergurl," thriving in a male-dominated industry. I am  a TEDx speaker and the author of the motivational book. The SHOEMAKERGURL. Edna is also the Co-Founder of Ahofade, a brand that celebrates Ghanaian craftsmanship.

I hold a BA in Communication (First Class) with a focus on Public Relations. When I am  not making shoes or being called on stage for an award, I love sharing my experiences to help build the young generation and unleash their potential through mentorship and coaching.

Currently on the mission of providing making footwears for kids who do not have access to shoe through my initiative Shoe For The Shoeless.

When I started shoemaking, I was often the only woman in the room. Today, that same skill powers a social impact initiative protecting children across rural Ghana.

Shoe For The Shoeless began with one simple observation: No child should miss school because they lack footwear.

Since then:
213 children protected.
5 artisans employed.
6 communities reached.

Skill created opportunity.
Impact created purpose.

We believe dignity should not be a privilege.
