- Managed mill operations for a drywall manufacturing plant, overseeing 12 employees and raw material delivery. Ensured quality, safety, and efficiency standards were met and maintained.
- Ensured the purity of raw materials by conducting quality testing using various analytical methods and instruments. Compared the test results with the pre-established specifications and standards and reported any deviations or non-conformities to the quality control (QC) unit.
- Led a board reclaim project to recycle imperfect gypsum board for reuse, reducing waste disposal costs and increasing raw material availability.

- Senior advisor to the Squadron Commander for all Communications and IT related projects
- Used phone and email to coordinate mission planning with sister squadrons as well as external civilian and federal organizations
- Presented for approval and implemented a remote work environment for all IT support staff during COVID-19
- Managed day-to-day operations and risk for help desk, information systems, and communications teams, providing reliable and secure network operations, information services, and data management for 500+ military and civilian personnel
- Created and instructed information security training regarding the proper use and risk measures of handling classified and unclassified data for an organization of 300 users while deployed to Afghanistan 
- Led and oversaw various IT/communications projects, including infrastructure re-cabling, SharePoint migration, tactical communications establishment, data lifecycle management, and multiple IT Network Device End of Lifecycle operations. Projects were delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and stakeholder expectations
- Ensured functionality and mission readiness of communications, computer, and network equipment across the organization, valued at over 10 million USD. Managed the security, care, and maintenance of the equipment, following best practices and DoD and NIST Standards for 2 years with zero incidents
- Developed monthly Unit Status Report (USR), compiling all unit inventory, personnel, equipment, and training metrics to be presented to the Department of Defense (DoD) for use in identifying units for future deployment

When a family crisis took me out of school at 14 to get a full-time job, it sparked a journey across many industries, roles, and nations.
 
Office work, construction, and self-employment in Australia. Study in the UK. Ministry in Africa. Sales and executive roles in the US. And yet others.

I led the transformation of Arby’s to become one of the world’s fastest-growing restaurant chains. Rated in the Top 10 of over 3,000 franchise systems in the US, with a new location opening every 39 hours. 

When a takeover harmed the culture, I resigned to find a meaningful new path. But then my income was nearly tripled and I stayed on. 

Two years later, I resigned again, to buy or create a business aligned with my values.
I sought strategic, executive-level career support. And couldn’t find it. 

In that gap, I finally recognized my calling. So in 1992, I became a pioneer in this field. 

In 2014, a failed project left us with inadequate capital, and I turned the business over to a consortium of colleagues and clients. They closed it in 2016. In the meantime, I had created and launched a more resilient model. 

Today, our stressed societies desperately need more leaders motivated and able to reform management structures that undervalue higher needs and promote lower ones.
