•Millwide Electrical Load Shed System: Executed a priority load shed system using upgraded SEL relays (some parts were old electromechanical) and PLC system. New HMI screens for Power Plant Control Room than included
•Arc Flash & Coordination Study: Easy Power Model of 115kV utility ties, 3 Turbine Generators and 4 Main 13.8kV Buses/Distribution Switchgear, Sync Bus along with entire plant of transformers, breakers, MCCs and motors/load. Also provided and installed mitigation solutions and labels across plant.
•Paper Machine Coordinate Drive Systems Upgrade: Upgraded entire machine electrical drives from wet end to dry end. 25 Drives: 15 Front End Upgrades and 10 from DC to AC.
•Winder Aux PLC Replacement: Upgraded Winder PLC in phased outages using monitor mode and partial replacements during regular outages with zero downtime impact to Board Machine (did not require an Annual or CMO)
•PowerHouse Critical Transformer & Primary Switch Upgrade: Replaced 13.8kV to 480V transformer along with Primary Switch/Breaker combo in a daisy chain as part of reliability upgrade
