Bentley Systems International, Ltd.

Managed a team of Sales Representatives located across MEA and Turkey focused on generating and pursuing new business opportunities across Bentley’s four industry segments (Plant, Geospatial, Building, and Transport/Local Infrastructure) through Direct sales and Channel Partners, achieving 30% year-on-year organic growth on $30 million target.

Collaborated with Product Managers providing input from the field to enhance and adapt Bentley products for the region. Resulting in net new business development in Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and sub-Saharan Africa.

Developed and executed a comprehensive account retention strategy that reduced client attrition by 10% and maintained a 95% account renewal rate.

Regional Sales Manager, MEA & Turkey

Covered a region of 13 Western US states and five Canadian provinces targeting over 400 companies and achieved an award for the best sales conversion ratio in the first year, achieving over  $1.0 million in sales in the first year.

Successfully expanded the sales of Plant products in California and acquired 15 new clients within the first year. Displaced competition and resulted in a 35% growth in organic annual revenue. 

Suggested new sales strategies for training and services in the state of Hawaii, resulting in a 75% increase of contract renewals.

Conducted seminars globally in collaboration with local partners and regional engineering associations resulting in increased brand awareness and 30% increase in sales revenue, especially in the Middle East & Africa region.

Wiseman+Rohy Structural Engineers

Led the structural design of a multi-purpose retail complex in 4S Ranch, San Diego comprised of multi-story retail structures, a library and Sheriff station. 

Contributed to the structural design of a 12-story mixed-use building with concrete shear walls and post-tensioned slabs, achieving optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborated with architects, engineers, and contractors onsite to resolve design issues and ensure project delivery within budget and schedule constraints.

Performed structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures in highly seismic areas, ensuring compliance with safety and building code standards.

As part of the Graduate program, we were encouraged to take part in the paid TA program. I was responsible for conducting supplementary workshops for exam preparation, substitute lecturing, grading papers and held office hours for additional student support. This activity resulted in a 20% increase in the number of pass marks and attracting new students to the Structural program.

I have worked on assessing and improving the performance of various types of structures, especially in areas prone to natural or man-made hazards. The projects typically involved historic preservation, post-disaster response, and airport renovations.

On Sep 12 following the 9/11 attacks, I was assigned to a special task force (including Firefighters & City officials) responsible for investigating the structural integrity of buildings surrounding the World Trade Center site (Ground Zero).

I am a driven and self-reliant  top-performing Sales Executive with 20+ years of experience selling high-value enterprise software solutions in the Civil and Energy sectors, helping National Government entities and private global organizations achieve their digital transformation objectives and solve business critical problems resulting in millions of savings for my clients.     

During this time, I received multiple President's Club awards for being among the top 1% of sales performers globally for growing my accounts by over 25% year-on-year and leading an initiative to establish a partnership with a strategic customer to develop an out of the box end-to-end supply chain solution for the energy market. Also secured a long-term partnership with a large global energy contractor resulting in over 100% annual revenue growth, by demonstrating the value of the company's solutions in driving efficiency, innovation and sustainability in the energy sector.
