This role was definitely not the stereotypical straight out of college corporate role and provided me an opportunity to dive deep into what it meant to be a self employed entrepreneur. 

Growing up I soaked in every aspect of real estate through shadowing my father’s 35+ year career as a real estate broker. Saw the effects of the ups, downs, market cycles, you name it. 
I went door to door generating leads and spent countless hours reading books and interviewing agents on how to “thrive” in such a competitive industry. 
I was eager to support families and investor’s goals by collaborating to flipping homes and assisting them to have residential facelifts. 
Although witnessing many transformations was an aesthetically enjoyable experience...
I found fulfillment and purpose in the process of transforming people’s lives and financial outlook, which lead to my path at Transamerica.

Why I explored this pond?
Something about entrepreneurship and being exposed to the fashion industry at a young age through my sister’s career, gave me a strong gratitude for expression through style.
A fond memory of interviewing the founders behind Proenza Schouler and meeting Tom Ford struck a cord in my young mind. 
Bringing designer brands to ordinary people at affordable prices brought me confidence and experience in collaborating with private vendors. 
Put in countless hours driving to LA and researching the latest trends to keep up with market demand. 
Although Amazon was the main channel, I also managed highly rated boutiques on Ebay, Poshmark, and Mercari. 
This role allowed me to learn about branding, and social marketing in the designer and runway couture space.
