You'd think graduating from college would make me lucky in a 3rd world environment. Sadly, wasn't able tostand out in a country known for its high unemployment rate (6 million graduates sent to the jobmarket yearly.)

One day, got super fed up. Gained an interest in personal development. Led me to all things business,sales & marketing. Struggled for many years figuring stuff out.

As the President, I was able to achieve the following amidst others: 

A) Donated trees to the community: The role of trees in terms of environment cannot be underemphasized. With the partnership of some of our partner organizations, we were able to donate Trees to the community. 

B) Planted trees in various squares of the market: We engaged in some tree planting exercise to inspire them to plant more trees.

C) Celebrated World Environmental day: June 5 is set aside by the United Nation to celebrate world environmental day. The theme of the year 2019 is ‘Beating Air Population’.all headquartered in the state capital Lafia to lead the campaign against Air pollution.  We raised awareness against air pollution.  Our effort was recognized  by United Nation Environment as I was given  World Environment Day Hero Certificate by United Nation Environment.

D)  Donated Mobile Incinerator to the local government: Climate change is real and one of the factors that cause climate change is incessant burning.

 As a way of curbing climate change, we embarked on fabricating 2 mobile incinerators and donated to the local Government. 

E) Published a manual called “Saving the environment”: One of our targets is the young ones and to achieve this, we decided to establish school clubs in every school we visit for sensitization.   This manual is meant for use by school clubs. This will help them acquire the necessary knowledge about the environment and share this knowledge with their friends, families, etc.

F) Conducted sensitization in two schools: We carried out sensitization in two schools. Sensitization topics include soil erosion, sanitation, global warming, waste management etc.


G) Introduction of Pep talks to the activities of the CDS Group: As our commitment to the capacity building of members of the CDS group concerning the environment, we introduced pep talk to the weekly activities of the CDS.
