Marketing heavy industries on LinkedIn ✨

I’ve spent years treating LinkedIn like a public diary. 
But it stops now. 

Don't worry - I'm not going to become one of those AI Bots (can you imagine!!)

But starting this year, I'm experimenting with some actual authority-building writing. 

Did an audit of the voices I look up to, and here's what I'm changing:

1- Heavily rely on logic (not just feeling) to support findings

2- I’m going to be very clear about who I am NOT. (Hint: I am not a storyteller, nor a writer. Always been a systems marketer, time to own it. Yes, I'm very heavy on AI and tools.)

3- I’m removing "I think," "I feel," and "maybe" from my vocabulary. If I’m not sure enough to state it as a fact, I haven’t thought about it enough yet.

4- I’m sharing numbers, dates, and the actual mistakes that cost my clients or me money.

The goal isn't to be "liked" by everyone anymore. 

The goal is to be the obvious choice for the few people who actually need a strategist systems marketer, not just a ghostwriter.

Experiment starts today. Let’s see what happens.

Most LinkedIn advice is a waste of time for technical B2B founders.

Your ideal buyer isn't scrolling for entertainment.

So if you just mindlessly replicate whatever LinkedIn is pushing (memes and sob stories), 3 things happen:

1- you attract the wrong audience

2- your expertise gets diluted

3- you're basically training LinkedIn to show your content to non-buyers

Repeat after me: Stop chasing virality - optimize for business.

I'm pro AI, but one thing I hate about AI writing is that - well, it's not charming. 

AI is built on averages. 
It tells you what the internet usually thinks.

Even if you prompt it to find unused/unpopular perspectives, it still comes up with the most obvious ones.

So dearest gentle reader, 
If you use AI to write your thoughts, you are literally paying to sound like everyone else.

Use AI, but don't outsource your thinking. Please?

The past few hours have been horrifying!

I woke up to some strange replies in my inbox that I had no context for. 

Sourav Mohanty was kind enough to share a screenshot of the messages he and many of you have received. 

Please know that I have reported this to the LinkedIn Center and reset my verifications (although for some time I was locked out of my own account and that was equally scary).

I've built my presence here based on integrity and it pains me to see that these scammers have zero left. 

If you received such messages from me - please don't entertain.

Stop lying this very instant!

You literally spend 8 hours a day solving problems, answering "stupid" questions in DMs, and fixing technical glitches.

That IS your content.
You just don’t have a system to capture it.

The email you sent to a client explaining why their strategy failed? Post it.

The spreadsheet you built to track lead flow? Screenshot it.

The "obvious" fact you had to repeat three times this week? Write it.

Documentation is the superpower you're missing.
