- Try trends that you don’t think fits in your industry
- Shoot or edit extra content to play with the algorithm
- See what your competitors are doing and execute fast
- Go for videos with minimum duration at first (low effort, fast execution)

As a business owner, you will have the urge to put anything and everything on your homepage because of FOMO.

It’s very important for you to dismiss that feeling and answer these three questions first.

1. What’s the first action you want your visitors to do?
2. Is the CTA for that action easy to find?
3. Does the user know the first 3 steps that lead to purchasing your product or service?

If your answer is not all yes, you’re not only losing a lead you’re also looking like a scam.

Now, how do you measure this on your homepage?

1. Does the CTA button for what you want your users to do appear in the hero section?  

2. Do you have at least 3 CTAs across your homepage using the same wording?

3. Do you have a “how it works” section to let your leads know what to expect and when?

Remember, visitors need to create a mental map on how to use your product or service.

If your homepage can’t do that, you’ve lost them to a competitor.
