The Boots UK Winter Beauty Ball ✨ 🧚‍♀️ 👠 

To celebrate the launch of the Boots Christmas campaign and advert, ‘Gift Happily Ever After’ we dreamt up an enchanting launch party filled with magic, dancing, and of course, beauty.

Set across a festive overnight stay, guests began their story in a magical gifting market before wandering into The NoMad ballroom, transformed into a shimmering blue Boots fairytale ball.

Some moments to be remembered:

Last week we treated some of our gorgeous clients with a trip to the beautiful Beaverbrook for our annual Christmas lunch and exploration of their stunning grounds, that have been totally transformed for the festive period ✨

We dressed The Morning Room with cues of a joyful gingerbread-inspired wonderland, featuring bespoke gingerbread Spitfires (a nod to their heritage) and hand decorated cookies featuring the house itself 🛎️

After a morning of catching up we experienced the magic of Beaverbrook first hand with an exceptional lunch at The WildKitchen, a go on the ice rink and hot chocolates under the most perfect winter sky!

Working within the Growth and Brand Department at The Collective to 'Bring the best of what's happening in London to our members living rooms'  I design, create and produce our buildings long term cultural programming, partnerships and creative commissions strategies as well as overseeing offsite audience building events and launch event activity. As well as vision setting I manage a team of four (Brand Partnerships Manager, Cultural Programme Associate, Creative Content Producer and Events Intern) as well as working closely with our customer experience teams and community teams. This year, I have commissioned a number of 'never done before' projects for the brand including a very exciting scent project that aims to bring together a 'collective scent' and a sound design project with University of the Arts Londons MA cohort. The Collective believes the event programme is the perfect, visceral manifestation of the brands core value 'Be More Together' and so the programme is the cornerstone to our wider content across social media, blog posts, in the press and beyond.

The point of contact for this creative partnership, we were successful in our aims to engage the design community in those areas through events, PR, and a mentoring scheme which matched winners of the professional award with winners from the YCN student awards. They have developed into one of the most exciting performance companies in the UK, gaining critical acclaim across their diverse body of work, including opera, pop records, video, apps, pop ups, immersive theatre and comedy. Commissions include Southbank Centre, Royal Albert Hall, ICA, Women’s Library, Fig 2, Almeida Theatre, Bicester Village, TopMan, Channel 4 and BBC Radio 4, with performances at festivals and arts venues across the UK and Europe. The Battersea Power Station Christmas tree projections are now live and open to view! This year’s display features a stunning selection of work by some of the UK’s most exciting creatives, including Muragiah, Oliver Jeffers, Lakwena, and David Shrigley. In addition, there are projections of designs by the public, all created digitally on iPads. It's inspiring to see how the Today at Apple workshops have encouraged people across the country to get involved with drawing and creativity. Last night, even Kylie Minogue got in on the action! And as the cherry on top, Munya Chawawa, our campaign cheerleader, will be at the Covent Garden store on Tuesday 9 December at 4.30pm to talk about leading such a massive campaign, content creation, and his amazing new legacy project, Black Boys Theatre Club.
