When most people look at him, they see a fearless, confident guy who’s willing to try anything. What they don’t see are the screws, plates, and hinges holding his body together.

That’s how success really works.

What stays hidden are the sleepless nights, time away from family, getting close and falling short, illness from overworking, being underpaid or unappreciated, and the hard conversations at home when plans start to fall apart.

I used to assume people who made it had talent, luck, or perfect timing. Now I know better. There’s no such thing as overnight success. There’s only what you’re willing to endure when no one is watching.

One thing I still wrestle with is balance. Learning how to give myself grace after failure without forgetting what it cost. It took me a long time to stop crumbling when things didn’t work out. I’m nowhere close to my goals, but I’ve come a long way.
