Human Design is a system that helps us to understand ourselves better, understand how are designed to exchange energy with the world and how we can show up and lead life in an empowered way. 
It is also called the Science of Differentiation and it is a mix of ancient wisdom and modern science 😎

Using Human Design makes a HUGE difference for my clients in general and of course also for the tangible outcome in the end - the images we are creating together. 

As a Human Design Projector, I have the gift to see differently and am able to connect with people on a deep level.
(Some even say that I can see into their soul … 💚)

I see my clients as who they really are (not in a creepy way 😅) and discover with them what they are truly here to share with the world.

It is often not far away of what they are trying to achieve anyways, but during their work with me

I have studied photography in Edinburgh and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2011.
This was not my first career though.
When I left school my dad wanted me to go to University and get a proper job…..
I did that and studied business management - as you do!
I was even successful and went on with a proper career within the Logistics Industry.
Until I felt so frustrated and unhappy that I was ready to change.
I moved to Scotland, quit my job and started studying photography in 2006!
This was the best decision of my life, I loved every minute of it and appreciated so much that I was taught what I always wanted to learn.
However, the path was not that straight and after graduating with a BA in 2011, I was headhunted into a corporate job again, with an offer I could not refuse 🙄.
Fast forward - it took a few too many years to reverse that again, but I now I am finally and 100 % back in the profession I totally love!
And I am good at what I do, too!

I’m flying 6,000 miles to Thailand to talk about TRUST to a room full of marketing companies. I'll be talking at The Indie Summit, about why trust matters and its relevance to LinkedIn.

I’m excited to meet independent agency owners and leaders who see LinkedIn as a long term relationship builder, not just another content channel.

I’ll be sharing what’s working right now to build visibility and trust, and where to focus your effort now, especially with LinkedIn’s latest algorithm shift (360Brew) changing what gets seen - and why.

A session built for busy agency leaders: useful, specific, actionable.

Do you ever say something nice at a networking event?
A quick, genuine compliment. Nothing big. Just human.

“Loved what you said there.”
“Love your coat/bag/shoes"
“You explained that so well.”

So why do we go quiet on LinkedIn?

If you catch yourself thinking something nice while you’re scrolling, type it. Send it. Done.

It makes them feel good.
It makes you feel good.
It takes about 10 seconds.
And even if you never speak again, it still lands.

Next time you’re scrolling, try a note like:

“I loved your post today. Really clear.”
“Your banner is brilliant. It says exactly what you do.”
“Your About section is so well written. That line about [X] really landed.”

Send it, then carry on scrolling.

And why this photo?  Because Ceylan Boyce, Marie Fraser and I connected at this event as we loved each others' outfits!

Have you ever wanted to message someone on LinkedIn… and then realised you can’t, because you’re not connected? 

You could send them a connection request but there is another way. 

Think what you would do in real life.

In real life, you’d see if someone could introduce you. 

On LinkedIn, we start to overthink it.

But a warm introduction is one of the easiest ways to cut through the noise, especially when someone gets loads of connection requests.

The great thing is that LinkedIn TELLS you who your mutual connections are. How easy can this be? Just send one of them a message asking for an introduction. 

That’s it. Low effort for them. High trust for you.

Do you ever ask for warm intros, or do you default to sending a cold connection request?

Are LinkedIn polls dead?...here are some insights that might surprise you...

On a recent poll I ran it had:

🔶 3,978 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝
🔶 152 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

That’s 7.2% 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 1 𝐢𝐧 14).
And the comments tell the real story, people didn’t just click, they had something to say.

Polls aren’t dead. People will vote… but only when the question is worth answering.

If you want people to vote, the question needs to be:

~ relateable
~ specific enough to have an opinion
~ easy to answer
~ comfortable to answer

The real skill is asking something your audience wants to weigh in on.

Happy International Women’s Day!

Cycling is such a great sport for women and look at us all about to hit some mountains!

Happy Mothers’ Day to all mums, were mums, want to be mums out there. 

Sadly not with my 3 today as I’ve just landed in Bangkok to speak at The Indie Summit with thenetworkone and also at ADFEST (Official) so a different slant on my usual Sunday Roast with the family!

What's your biggest hesitation when connecting with someone new on LinkedIn?

Do you remember being told, “Be careful, don’t talk to strangers”?
I’ve been thinking… that might be why so many smart, capable people hold back on LinkedIn.

There’s still a tiny bit of “talking to strangers” fear in there.
Here’s the reframe that helps.

Connecting with strangers on LinkedIn only feels weird if you don’t introduce yourself.

LinkedIn is basically the biggest networking party in the world.

If nobody came over, said hello, and introduced themselves… 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 would be weird.

Same rule here.
A connection request from a stranger isn’t odd.
An anonymous connection request is.

So if you want more of the right people in your network, keep it simple if you want to connect with a stranger: 

~ Check their profile
~ Hit connect
~ Add a personal note 
~ And just behave as if you were in a real life situation

And if connecting cold still feels a bit cold warm it up first:

~ Comment on their posts (even if you’re not connected yet) and start there.
~ Reframe it like this: you’re not pitching. You’re introducing yourself.

This one line changes how you lead employee advocacy.

Because the fastest way to kill it is to treat people like a channel:

“Here are the KPIs. Here’s the ROI. Here’s what we need by next Tuesday.”

I’ve seen this happen. A leadership team rolls out a shiny advocacy plan, there's even a spreadsheet with RAG ratings. It looks great. Everyone nods, and then… nothing. 

Not because people don’t care, but because the ask doesn’t fit the reality of their people and their day.

It’s like buying everyone a gym membership and acting surprised when nobody goes.

It sounds great on paper but fails in real life.

Real advocacy is nurtured, not forced.

Start with what is actually achievable for your teams:

Praise what they can do. Encourage consistency. Reduce pressure. Remove friction.
