I work at the intersection of readiness, assurance, and human agency in complex systems.

As AI-enabled systems scale, the limiting factor is no longer computation — it’s judgment: how decisions are framed, risks are governed, and responsibility is preserved when complexity increases. My work focuses on making those decisions legible, defensible, and aligned with intent.

I’m an Operations Research–trained systems thinker and U.S. Navy veteran who has spent the last 15+ years operating inside complex organizations — often where formal systems underperform and informal “shadow systems” emerge. My way of reasoning was shaped early through rigorous mathematics and science, reinforced through hands-on technical service in Navy information systems, and later formalized through academic training in physics and operations research. Across policy, technology, and operations, I’ve been pulled into ambiguous spaces to stabilize decision-making, align stakeholders, and restore trust in how systems function.

Rather than optimizing for outputs alone, I focus on how decisions are made:
•	framing tradeoffs before they harden into constraints
•	surfacing risk, bias, and second-order effects early
•	integrating quantitative and qualitative signals
•	stewarding systems so they scale with people, not just code

This approach has led to prototypes and decision frameworks that became durable infrastructure — adopted not by mandate, but because they addressed shared friction across functions. My experience spans financial services, federally funded programs, national research labs, startups, and mission-driven environments where readiness and assurance are non-negotiable.

More recently, I’ve been evolving my practice through self-directed applied research — using fictional but plausible systems to explore AI-era readiness, governance, and human-in-the-loop decisioning. This work prioritizes storytelling not as persuasion, but as a mechanism for making intent, tradeoffs, and accountability visible.

I’m well-suited for environments where organizations need:

•	someone who can move between strategy, modeling, and execution
