Keld Jensen

As a young but experienced Procurement, Negotiation and Sports Passionate I love to challenge the status quo in these industries.

My procurement motto: Purchasing is not about client-supplier relationships, it is about creating partnerships.

Currently working as Head of Procurement of Nippon Shokubai where I lead the procurement team. (Stijn.laenen@nseurope.be)

Therefore I was the purchasing manager for APS (formerly) Panasonic Energy Belgium, where I was responsible for the direct and indirect procurement team and part of the local management team. 

My general motto: never stop learning, push yourself to be your best and always follow your passion.

As former pro-level football player, I had the honor of playing against current international top football players but more important, this time learnt me a lot about life (perseverance, dealing with stress and criticism, time management and working hard). Although I have stopped playing at this level, I am still passionate about football/soccer and more in general: sports.

Combining my passions for sports and procurement I also founded Stimax Sports (www.stimax.be), where I support sports organizations with cost optimizations and project management.

Building further on my experience as a young manager, and negotiation expert, I founded Stimax Young where I coach young professionals in Negotiation, do management consulting for Executives from a young perspective and give key notes where I love to give the audience food for debate about procurement, negotiation, career development, sports and motivation.
