Eyerate (eyerate.com) – Led the team through transition for a product that has 28 million+ weekly users across US and Canada, tripled engineering headcount, launched mobile platform and optimized process.

SeeSnap (seesnap.com) – Defined engineering and product strategy for a deskless worker platform; managed global team across 6 countries.

Fivo.io (fivo.io) – Oversaw development of a cloud-native lab data monitoring platform; led team scaling, architecture, and compliance across EDI and health data integrations.

At Tomar I was developing LED-based illumination systems. Mechanical design, thermal management, prototyping, prototype testing, transfer to manufacturing. Worked with marketing professionals, optical and electrical engineers, production personnel. LED radiative and heat power balance characterization, thermal behavior. Technical photography.

Design included die castings, sheet metal parts, metal extrusions, plastic parts including refractive and reflective optics, molded rubber parts; specifies vacuum metallization and galvanic plating for plastic parts. Designed for additive manufacturing. PCB penalization for wave and SMT solder processes.

Developed major LED products: concept design, simulation, prototyping through production. Sourced components and qualifies suppliers. If required, I designed to comply with UL standards.

SolidWorks design, thermal management with SolidWorks Flow Simulation CFD, structural SolidWorks Simulation FEA, hands-on prototyping, thermal testing and developing design/production solutions.

Supported quality assurance of in-house and outsourced components.

Championed an initiative, and successfully co-implemented the use of 3D scanning in product development. Perform 3D scans, use Creaform VXelements for editing scan results, 3D Systems Geomagic Wrap for translating scans to 3D CAD surface files. 

Introduced the use of additive manufacturing for production parts.

Additionally, I was maintaining contacts with local universities for work-related research opportunities.
