Dream job, was going to finally be able to integrate NASA, clinical experience and county government experience in one place: to become the lead on safety related to air quality on all Navy operations.
To finally give meaning to all that my parents went through, where I get to save lives of thousands.
Then I refused the new magic juice shots... resigning from this role was worse than the near death experience.

Where I found out the city of SF, Cal-EPA, State Governor, City Mayor (and others) were colluding to intentionally pollute the air.
They were sued by whistleblowers... and lost.
Needed the job, stayed quiet, and for this I was exposed to a highly carcinogenic gas that later resulted in tumors.
This experience alone is what 'woke' me up. 
Lost everything as a result of it, including marriage.
