Why are you running so fast? Who’s chasing you?

Someone asked me that years ago.
And I didn’t have an answer, because running had always felt normal.

My life... let's say it wasn't easy. I lost my dad when I was one, my sister just 10 days old. I just always felt, well, like the odd one out.

On top of that...
I grew up in a small town where everything was close and predictable.

People knew your parents, your plans, and your potential, before you did.
 
My friends were content (or at least they seemed to).
I was curious.
Always dreaming about somewhere else.

Belgrade was my first escape.
Loud, layered, alive... it showed me what possibility could feel like.
I was still figuring out who I was, but at least I was moving.

Then came Dubai.:
Big energy. Even bigger ambition.
 
The city where everyone’s chasing something: money, status, freedom.
It was where I learned to build.
A business. A family. A new sense of self.

But life has a way of calling you back.
After years abroad, I returned home, same streets, same skyline,  but a different me.
 
Two kids later, a pug with more personality than all of us combined,
 and a business that keeps growing, even when life gets messy.

For the first time, I stopped sprinting.
 
Not because I’d “made it.”
But because I finally understood what I was running towards.

And now, we’re preparing for the next move — Frankfurt, Germany.
A new city. A new rhythm.
Still business calls, school runs, and coffee-fueled nights,
but grounded in something steadier this time: trust.

Because here’s what I’ve learned from all the moving, building, and starting again:
🔴  You can rebuild anywhere if you’ve built self-trust first.
🔴 Growth rarely feels glamorous. It’s messy, brave, and deeply personal.
🔴 Every “new start” is really just a new layer of clarity.
🔴 The chaos that comes with kids, clients, and relocations? It is the rhythm.
🔴 Home isn’t a place, it’s the version of you who feels safe in your own pace.

So no, I’m not running anymore.
I’m walking, slower, more certain, and a lot more myself.

When clients ask how I’ve built conviction in my work, I tell them:
I’ve had to build it in my life first.

Because choosing yourself, again and again, through every move, every mess...
isn’t just how you grow a business.

It’s how you grow into the person capable of leading it.
So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to take that leap,
 book the ticket.
 make the move.
 trust the timing.

Your next version of clarity might be waiting in a new city.
But the peace you’re looking for?

🙃 If you could give your 2015 self one sentence of advice… what would it be?

Ten years ago, I was learning to fold blankets at 35,000 feet. And walk like a runway model… while carrying coffee through turbulence.

If I could go back and whisper one thing to myself mid-flight (Emirates uniform and all), it’d be this:
 “Your job title won’t define you. Your curiosity might.”

Because back then, I thought life had to be linear. One track. One version of me.

I didn’t know I’d one day build offers from scratch.
Or learn to write website copy that sounds like real people.
Or help founders simplify their message so it actually converts.

I didn’t know I’d become someone who writes for a living (and still Googles “how to be a better writer” every week).

And I definitely didn’t know freelancing with two kids would be a rollercoaster with no seatbelt.

So here’s what I’d tell 2015 me:
 📌 You can start over more than once.
 📌 Your non-linear path will become your edge.
 📌 Every “random” job teaches you something (even folding blankets).
 📌 Curiosity builds confidence.

In case you wondered Cabin crew life is one of the best things that happened to me and way more than “touch the galley, touch the trolley.”

You still don’t know how to turn your expertise into clear, structured writing.

Last time you sat down to write, you promised yourself it wouldn’t happen again.
You said you’d finally turn your ideas into a proper article…
But here you are — another draft is still… sitting there.

Tell me something:
Do you even know why this keeps happening?

Let me give you three possibilities, and be honest if you see yourself in any of them:
1. You’re thinking like an expert, not like a communicator.
Your ideas are deep, but writing needs structure, not complexity. Writing demands structure, clarity, and simplicity not complexity.

2. You expect the first draft to sound perfect.
It won’t.
Good writing is iteration, not inspiration.

3. You’re relying on AI to “fill in the gaps.”
AI can outline, summarize, and clean up phrasing, but it cannot think like you.
 When you try to force it, the content always feels generic and flat.

If even one of these sounds familiar, start here:
Pick one idea.
Write three sentences.
Don’t try to make it perfect.
Try to make it real.

You’ll be surprised what happens when you stop waiting for clarity,
 and start creating it.
