Last week, I had the privilege of being invited to Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and the experience was truly inspiring. 

The campus radiated energy, sharp minds, meaningful conversations, and ideas in motion.

Interacting with students was the highlight of my visit. Their curiosity, passion, and drive strongly reaffirm my belief in the transformative power of India’s youth.

Recently, I had the opportunity to deliver session at Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Verna (PCCE) 

3 hours, 2 batches, 2 sessions and absolutely packed with energy. 

What an experience it was. Truly loved every bit of it.

The energy I pour into every session is real, and when I walk out with that deep sense of satisfaction, it makes everything worth it. That feeling that you didn’t just speak, but connected, that’s unmatched.

Moments like these remind me why I started this journey in the first place. My initiative to create lasting impact continues, stronger than ever.

Looking forward to meeting more young minds, the future of our nation and the world.

Last January, I was interviewed by Doordarshan Goa for the work I do, an experience and recognition I’ll remember forever. Being featured by India’s oldest and most premier public service broadcaster was truly special.

What stood out the most was the depth of the conversation. The questions weren’t surface-level; they genuinely explored purpose, impact, and intent and I loved sharing my journey in that space.

Another year, and the focus remains the same, continue to Creating Impact.

Vyankatesh Prabhudesai Sir, former scientist at the National Aeronautical Laboratory (NAL), involved in the design and testing of India’s first all-composite aircraft, Hansa, and the light transport aircraft Saras, under the leadership of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. 
Widely recognized for transforming technical education in Goa, he is fondly referred to as VPD Sir by us, his students.

I usually don’t share messages, but this one truly took me back, to where my journey began 7 years ago, and why I continue to do what I do. His words didn’t just make me happy they reassured me to keep working beyond roles and titles, driven by genuine interest and a sense of responsibility towards society.

I was fortunate to be his student during my most crucial years, Grades 11 and 12 when he taught us Mathematics. Math has always been one of my strongest and favorite subjects, but his way of teaching took my interest to an entirely new depth. His methodology gave me confidence that even the most complex problems had solutions, I just needed to approach them the right way. 
Being mentored by him has truly been a blessing. He is someone who witnessed my hard work closely during those formative years.

Years passed. I went on to pursue Engineering, and one day, by chance, I met Sir again. As we spoke and I shared what I was doing, the very next time he invited me to address a new batch of Grade 11 students. That moment stayed with me.

And here I am today, in the corporate world yet consciously balancing my personal commitments and my work for society. When I recently received a message from him, it didn’t just bring joy it gave me quiet assurance that yes, I am truly 'Creating Impact'.

The first thing I did after reading that message was send it to my parents. Because my parents, VPD Sir, and a few others are the people I consider my 'Guru' 🙏❤️

January 2026 is truly going crazyyy.

The beginning felt smooth, almost calm but as the days unfolded, it got busier than I ever expected. The kind of busy that keeps you fully engaged, fully present.

Even even when I think about trying something different, the current rhythm keeps me fully engaged. I had imagined investing 2026 into many new activities, but honestly, the present setup itself demands focus, commitment, and consistency.

Still, I trust that everything I’m pouring my energy into today is shaping a future I’ll truly appreciate tomorrow.

Gen Z is truly redefining culture and here are 3 things I absolutely love about our generation:

1️⃣ We genuinely value real connections.
Every meaningful connection I’ve made, whether friends, mentors, or mentees, is something I consciously nurture. If I feel a strong bond, I invest time and effort to maintain and grow it. I learn from others, and I’m always ready to support them in return. These connections aren’t temporary, they’re enduring and meaningful.

2️⃣ We choose healthy habits.
I don’t just avoid junk food, I even stay away from packaged sauces and snacks. I prefer wholesome, home-cooked meals because I know what I put in my body matters. Even when work keeps me up late, my strong diet foundation helps me stay energized and balanced.

And it’s not just personal, broader trends show Gen Z is drinking less alcohol and prioritizing wellbeing. This shift is reshaping industries and expectations around lifestyle choices.

3️⃣ We align what we do with what we truly want.
Gen Z isn’t following norms just to fit in. We’re intentionally building our own stories. We choose paths that reflect our passions and potential, and we convince the world, not by conforming, but by delivering results in our areas of expertise.

We are a generation that strongly values authenticity, wellbeing and are driven by purpose.

In my early stage as a fresher, I often found myself exaggerating.

During sessions or presentations, being concise and to the point worked well, but the same approach didn’t translate smoothly into the corporate world.

Early on, I felt the need to walk my team through every single step I took to reach a result. Over time, I realised that not every meeting needs deep technical details. More often than not, stakeholders are focused on the business impact, not the entire process.

That’s when I started taking notes in every meeting and narrowing my thoughts down to just 2-3 key points around which the conversation revolved. This small habit helped me communicate my point clearly, and only dive deeper when it was actually needed.

A simple but powerful learning,
clarity matters more than complexity.

One thing I always tell juniors is this - educate yourself.
It’s one of the most powerful assets you can ever have. The knowledge you gain through learning can truly take you anywhere you aspire to go.

But I often see students gravitating toward the easy path, shortcuts, quick roadmaps, cheat sheets. While they may look tempting, the student phase is meant for taking the formal route, even if it feels slow or boring at times.

Yes, with new tools and technologies, it’s easy to bypass traditional learning and I do agree they add value. But strong fundamentals in any field matter far more than jumping straight to solutions.

Master the basics first. They’ll compound for life.

This analogy has always stayed with me.

When you train a machine learning model, performance doesn’t magically improve by just choosing a fancy algorithm. The real work starts much earlier with - data preparation.

Collecting relevant and high-quality data, handling missing values, reducing noise, feature engineering, and transforming inputs into a format the model can truly learn from. If the data is flawed, biased, or noisy, even the most powerful model will underperform.

Only after repeated training, evaluation, and fine-tuning does the model start making better predictions and generalizing well.

I see a strong parallel with humans.

The inputs we consume daily,
the knowledge, conversations, habits, environments, values quietly shape our thinking, decisions, and behavior. 

Just like models, we don’t improve by shortcuts or surface-level tweaks. Growth comes from curating the right inputs, unlearning noise, and consistently training ourselves with things that add depth and clarity.

Feed the right data.
Be patient with the training.
The results eventually show up.

Early in my career, whenever I found myself unsure about how to approach a task, my mentor would say one simple line, “Maheshwari, This can be done.”

That statement gradually reshaped my entire perspective. No matter how complex the problem or how challenging the solution seemed, I began approaching every task with the belief that a way forward always exists. 

Instead of feeling overwhelmed, I learned to think deeper, stay patient, and focus on solving rather than doubting.

Over time, this evolved into a mindset.

Today, regardless of how heavy or demanding a responsibility may be, the conviction that it can be done pushes me to go one level deeper, explore possibilities, and find solutions.

Using AI ≠ Knowing AI.
Might sound harsh, but that’s the reality.

Many people say they want to learn AI. But when it comes to actually learning it, the fundamentals, the math, the models, the architecture they get bored. 
What excites them more is knowing which tool to use and how to prompt it.

Don’t get me wrong, how you use AI matters. It reflects how well you can leverage technology to solve problems. That skill has value.

But using tools alone doesn’t teach you:
• how models are built
• why they behave the way they do
• what their limitations are
• or how to innovate beyond existing tools

True growth comes when you go a layer deeper, when you understand the why behind the what.

Tools will change.
Trends will shift.
But fundamentals compound.

When you do something out of genuine love for it, outcomes stop defining your commitment.

Success doesn’t inflate you.
Failure doesn’t break you.
You just stay consistent.

Because now, you're not driven by applause, you’re driven by purpose.

The journey will test you. For real.
It will stretch you, exhaust you, and at times even shake your confidence.
But strangely, it also builds you in ways comfort never could.

You start becoming stronger than your excuses.
Calmer than your fears.
More focused than your distractions.

That’s when you realize, growth isn’t loud. It’s daily. It’s disciplined. It’s often unseen.

So focus on doing meaningful work.
Do it consistently.
Do it with integrity, even when no one is watching.

Because when you keep showing up with the right intent, things start aligning in unexpected ways.
Opportunities come.
Right people appear.
Doors open, sometimes quietly.

But consistency has a way of rewarding patience.

When you focus on learning, discipline, and self-awareness, progress follows naturally.

Over time, I’ve realised that real relationships, whether with family, friends, at work, or even through social media, are built when people genuinely listen.

I’ve met a few people who didn’t just connect with me, but made me feel heard. They understood me, inspired me, and allowed the bond to grow naturally.
Those relationships stayed.

And I truly cherish them, because beyond roles, titles, and platforms, what matters most is being human with each other.
