- Developed first-ever historical and predictive analysis of strategic risk, providing much needed contextualizing of risk assessments from external organizations.
- Coordinated across the Department of Defense and broader US government to write congressionally mandated reports on airborne assets. 
- Incorporated first ever AI and automation capabilities into the office’s workflows, improving performance and reducing burdensome administrative tasks.

Action Officer, Joint Staff

Led a team of instructors in teaching critical military and intelligence courses across the globe. Led a separate team in managing a critical Navy administrative program used to assess and select personnel for promotion. 

- Ranked #1 of 66 joint service peers; Company Officer of the Quarter, 2nd Quarter FY 2022.
- Led 15 instructors in delivering 60 courses to 500 federal employees and military personnel.
- Managed the Education Services program for the DIA’s Navy Element. Led a team of 12 globally based administrators in the delivery and administration of controlled examination materials for 600 military personnel across 171 subordinate organizations in 60 countries. 
- Managed a manpower review of 1,056 Navy positions across the agency, providing crucial analysis to leadership that supported personnel decisions and realignments.

Instructor, Joint Military Intelligence Training Center

Led a department of 40 personnel in executing military operations and maintaining equipment worth $30 million. Served as the organization’s deputy director when senior leadership was unavailable due to an emergent regional crisis; advised the organization’s director and prepared the organization for sustained combat operations at sea. Forward deployed to the Middle East for entire tour, with deployments across the Middle East.

- Ranked #1 of 8 peers.
- Selected from peers to serve as Executive Officer and Operations Officer during heightened tensions with Iran in January 2020. Prepared the organization for sustained combat operations at sea.
- Planned and led two multi-national military operations and coordinated several large-scale military exercises at sea. 
- Volunteered to lead organization-wide preparations for compliance and inspections by third-party inspectors, resulting in the organization passing all inspections with high scores.

Department Head

Led a division of 50 personnel in maintaining military equipment worth $40 million while earning initial maritime warfare qualifications. Deployed multiple times to Europe, the Middle East, and South America. Received advanced anti-terrorism, small unit, and close quarters battle training. 

- Managed teams of 10 personnel in executing daily maritime operations over multiple challenging deployments across the world. 
- Led and trained small teams of personnel in challenging at-sea anti-terrorism operations, including at sea boarding operations and overseas in-port defense. 
- Managed key organization-wide maintenance, safety, and legal programs.

Division Officer

The Supreme Council, Scottish Rite

Worked as an intern for the Scottish Rite Supreme Council at the House of the Temple in Washington, D.C. 

- Assisting the main intern staff by giving tours of the House of the Temple to tourists, researchers and scholars, and visiting Masons. 
- Worked to retrieve articles of incorporation for various Scottish Rite Foundations and checked them for validity and potential problems.
- Compiled and created a master list of Scottish RiteCare clinics and learning centers in the Southern Jurisdiction, working with the clinics and the valleys to produce an accurate portrayal of the RiteCare program in each state.

Research Intern

The Paris Bureau

Provided TV news production support to CNN and CNN International, including live news broadcasts, segment production, and media records management. Worked with CNN anchors, journalists, and production assistants to develop rigorous, fair, and balanced news reporting. Provided specific production support to CNN Business with Richard Quest, and supported interviews with the French Ambassador to the US and Admiral John Kirby, spokesman for the Department of Defense.

Summer Intern

Office of Senator Mary Landrieu

Worked within the Legislative Office, providing a wide range of administrative support, including:

- Responding to constituent letters and questions.
- Research information on pending bills.
- Compiled summaries on committee hearings and important issue areas.
- Ran errands, assisted with filing duties, compiled documents, and performed other general office duties. 

While assigned to the Legislative Office, the majority of my duties were with the Senator's Military Legislative Assistant, Ross Nodurft, and the Military Liaison, Jason Kalin. Duties included:

  - Any work involving issues relating to the U.S. Military, Veteran's Affairs, and military involvement in disaster relief. 
  - Attending meetings with military staff from Fort Polk; informational meetings with contractors;
  - Prepared a memo for the Senator on the state of veteran's affairs in Louisiana, which allowed me to develop contacts within a variety of veterans' groups.

Intern

French Ministry of Defence

Worked Primarily with the Ministry of Defense's Department of Interservice Media Communications. Duties were focused on the following:

- Gathered daily news from English or American magazines, newspapers, websites, and blogs dealing with military issues specific to France and her missions abroad (including Afghanistan and Africa).

- Filtered through and complied articles into a memo for distribution to the Department of Defense, the French Armed Services, the Embassies, and any other diplomatic missions.

- Additionally performed general administrative duties.

Skills included:

  - Researching and filtering of military specific topics from general news 
    articles to detailed and technical reports.
  - Translating said information from English to French and vice versa.
  - Summarizing the information for dissemination across the Services.

Marine Nationale

I was a 'Stagiere' (Cadet) in the Preparation Militaire Marine (PMM). PMM is the French Navy's equivalent of Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC). I attended PMM in my junior year of high school, which began my lifelong interest in military service and the Navy.

I am an experienced manager and leader with over 9 years of military service at sea and within the Washington, DC area. I have served in multiple leadership and management roles, including at the national leadership level, and I have excelled in both generalist and specialist roles. 

My specialties include naval and joint operations, intelligence, and national security affairs. I am most interested in the fusion of intelligence, operations, and executive decision-making at the strategic and national levels.
